Maulik Pancholy returns
safenoe13 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Good to see Maulik Pancholy return for season 7 as Jack's incredibly loyal PA. It's hard to believe 30 Rock is at the beginning of the end, so we see observe Jack's shenanigans to sink NBC through awful shows. Watching Jack is a bit surreal with everything going on at real-life film set.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.

The Beginning of the End (#7.1)

Warning: Spoilers
This is the first episode of the final season! Can't believe how little of this great show is left.

Jack wants NBC to flop so that somebody else buys it. Jenna is getting ready for her wedding and wants Liz to be her maid of honor. Liz tries to go Jack's way and fail at it so that she picks someone else. And the new couple Kenneth and Hazel invite Tracy for dinner. Although Hazel is just using Kenneth to make a break as an actress.

A pretty funny episode. I liked the issue Jenna and Liz had and how Liz solved it. The Kenneth story is also hilarious especially Kenneth's dilemma about whom to believe.

30 Rock The Beginning of the End

Warning: Spoilers
After six years and know a seventh year we have got to say goodbye to our favourite NBC writer Liz Lemon and her band of misfits. No Liz does not have a baby but she is working on it with Chris. 30 Rock knows how to make fun of it's own network NBC when it comes to horrible the new fall shows are. After the opening credits Jenna comes in to make a fake marriage problem with dead doves. Then she asks Liz to be her Maid of Honor and when she try's to say no she is forced with pain to do it. Kenneth has a problem as he lives with Hazel and they have gotten to second base (Sharing a Yoghart) so he asks Tracey for help for relationship advice, so he tells him to treat Hazel as a queen. Jack is really coming up with such bad ideas to get in charge of Cabletown. Hazel invites Tracey to Dinner with Kenneth and it could go really wrong. Just when Kenneth finishes talking to Tracey Liz comes to ask for his advice to stop being the maid of honor. As she talks to Tracey she figures out that Jack is coming with all these bad ideas to get Hank to sell the network. Dinner time as Hazel try's to impress Tracey even dressing up in her best work to try be a more known actress. Then Liz takes a note from Jack's book and decides to Tank it by throwing her a surprise Liz Lemon party. Hazel asks Kenneth to leave to try use Tracy for her career. Then when Jenna's walks in on her horrible bacherlorette party and goes crazy over it. Then Hazel reveals her hidden plan and Tracey forces to tell Kenneth the truth. Liz then tells Jenna that she can be the maid of honor after she went crazy. Kenneth believes both Hazel and Kenneth so they will fight more. Liz then agrees to go with Jack's plan of sinking NBC into the ground. This was so funny and especially from Jane Krakowski my favourite unrewarded actress on this show. Also Kristen Schaal was once again funny. Nice return and I like the plot of Jack/Liz planning to take down NBC.

EPISODE GRADE: A- (MVP: Jane Krakowski)
