During exterior filming in Swansea, Police Officers arrived on set twice to question the filmmakers about the rather macabre scenes being shot.
For a particularly gory scene involving an Axe murder, the filmmakers were unable to rent a location that would allow them to cover the walls and floors in copious amounts of fake blood. So Producer Andrew Jones allowed the scene to be shot in a spare room at his own home, which required extensive re-decorating afterward.
