Ian continues to gain Ryder's confidence running his drugs scam and agrees to plant an explosives device at the Aldwych - informing Byzantium who will test Aidan by making him disable it. Whilst Aidan rushes to the Aldwych Sam is attacked by the blank-faced assassin who killed Goebel.—don @ minifie-1
- Sam follows Jack Turner and venture capitalist Lewis Conroy to a meeting at a nearby university. The man they meet is Vincent Cage one of Conroy's former economics professors and it's apparent they need his help, presumably to obtain the £30 million he needs for the dam bid. When he flatly refuses and threatens to go to the police, Turner bashes his head in. Deacon is convinced that Aidan is the mole and proposes to Keel that they set a trap for him. Keel confronts Nathalie Thorpe about MI-6's mole in Byzantium but she denied any such person exists. Ian is still working on finding the brief case when he sees it in plain sight in Dave Ryder's office. Aidan learns that Hourglass is an MI-6 case file. He and Sam also learn just how Jack Towers has managed to build his fortune. In flashbacks, we learn how Sam's mother died.—garykmcd
