I love the ones where there is a setting, a place, where there is a lot going on. Other episodes, for example, 'Dead End Street' or 'The Accident. They are just so brilliantly done and directed.
Here we have a street corner that seems to be ground zero for a serial killer hunting for victims. Or, a sequential killer as Julia coins it. There so much going on as the camera circles all the activity. Murdoch and the gang try to figure out who the killer is in all the hustle and bustle of activity that takes place there.
Love that George tries a new kind of food, pizza. Murdoch calls it piz-zah. Lol. Later George is joined by Emily who wants to see what police work is like. There was an eccentric and oddball cast of guest characters.
I think the strongest point in the episode besides the direction, is the investigative tactics and the questioning of people in the corner. The first time I watched this episode I didn't know who the killer was. In rewatching, I'm like how could I have missed it? 10/10.
