Ruzek has always been a little questionable to me as far as skirting the lines. The fact that Kim seems to not trust him fully is very telling. Kim is a piece of work herself. Sometimes she is a little too impulsive in my opinion.

Halstead definitely seems to be turning into a mini-Voight. Hopefully he stays true to himself. The new cop (cant remember his name) seems to be a good fit.

I really need to catch up on the last two seasons. I think I have missed enough to feel a little lost. I had no idea Halstead and Hailey were married. Work romances hardly end well. I remember not too long ago she was sleeping with Ruzek!!!

Anyways, good episode.

Warning: Spoilers
..... Because this episode starts off with a bang! There's a convicted murderer named Dale Lee Wilken (Peter Albrink) who manages to hijack a prison van belonging to the Chicago Department of Corrections. He wounds one of the guards named Eric Sadler in the ankle (and this guard looks like he took first place in a pie-eating contest) and takes the other guard hostage, a honeybabe named Tianna Burrows (Ashley D. Kelley). Come to find out, Tianna helped Wilken in his escape. Of course, Sergeant Voight and the Intelligence Unit crew have to go on a Wilken safari, and get that killer off the street. They inadvertently scare the daylights out of a housekeeper at the Rainbow Motel (an actual motel in Chicago) while hunting for Wilken. They find Tianna at an abandoned church building, but no sign of Wilken, and she claims that he was an abused child. She tries to blame Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), and will not help the cops find the escaped perp. So, Sergeant Voight and his team have no choice but forge on, and the next place is an abandoned mall (there's far too many of them these days). There's a shooting between Wilken and the unit members, then Wilken steals a car and shoots a little 10-year-old girl named Cloey Frasier (Celestina Harris) in the belly and she dies, leaving behind a grieving mother (Chiffona Ray). Cloey was an only child. Adam Ruzek lets Tianna Burrows know that Dale Lee Wilken was corresponding with other women and laying on some of his love rap via letter. Tianna sees the light, of course. The unit goes off in hot pursuit of Ray Henski (Ty Hubbard) and find out that Wilken did pay a visit there. Next stop is a bus terminal, and Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) finds Dale Lee Wilken hiding in the water closet and is forced to open fire, killing him in the process while the rest of the passengers evacuate safely. There wasn't a dull moment to be found anywhere. Jeepers, this was a good show. And Adam and Kim continue to move towards happiness as they make a home for little Makeyla. Love that heartwarming ending.

Warning: Spoilers
A good, old-fashioned manhunt episode on Chicago PD, a second consecutive strong episode to start the tenth season.

Ruzek is giving evidence against a man who killed an elderly couple, a situation that drives a temporary wedge between himself and Burgess, right when Burgess is trying to decide whether to move herself and Makayla in with Ruzek. (At least there is some closure for that storyline in this episode).

Those decisions have to wait, as the man Ruzek was testifying against manages to break out of his handcuffs, overpower one guard and co-opt the other into driving the prison wagon. All is not as it seems as the hunt continues.

Strong performance from Patrick John Flueger in this episode. Same goes for Tracey Spiridakos who is in temporary charge of the unit whilst Halstead and Voight are mysteriously AWOL at the start of the episode. Upton is definitely unimpressed with her husband.

Warning: Spoilers
Favorite scene with

Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) - Grilling Jay re: his Whereabouts that morning. There sure was Trouble in Paradise between her and Jay!

Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) - Shooting and Killing the Killer on the Bus. There sure was Trouble in Paradise between her and Adam!

Sergeant Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) - All of her scenes.

Chicago P. D. is Back and it Rocked!!!

My Mom got me Hooked on this Show. I usually don't Review TV Shows. But the Chicago Series is now my Ultimate Favorite Series. Watching Last Season's Reruns got me through the Long, Hot Summer and Really Helped me through some things.

I Love Every Single Character.

Warning: Spoilers
The case was ok.. and even tho it was adam centered.. it was boring because it is always his relationship with burgees who doubted him at the begining thinking he planted the gun and also with him being a dad to the little girl..

it is so annoying this going back and forth.. nobody cares anymore about them being together..

hailey.. of course, being hailey.. when an episode is centered on her and something about it triggers her... wow, nobody can hold her.. she goes rogue, angered and get out of her face.. but when it is somebody else, she preaches, she nags.. her telling jay to let go of a suspect who pushed voight was hilarious.. and now her second guessing of jay and voight..

dunno what happened to jay, he always doubted his actions and now they are best buds,... what?

The case was good, but everything else... not so much.

Warning: Spoilers
I was excited for this episode since it was Adam centred, but I was a little wary because his episodes are usually about Burgess and their relationship. As usual, it was, and her constant doubt in him put a damper on the episode. We've all said it about a million times, their relationship is so toxic and it's been dragged on for 10 seasons, it's time to put us (and them) out of their misery and shut it down for good. But instead of listening to their viewers, it's pretty clear they're going to end up together some time this season. Definitely not looking forward to that.

Then we have the Jay/Hailey/Voight storyline. How many seasons can we have this go on for? The arguing, the secrets. I thought we put an end to that last season but clearly I was wrong. It's boring, repetitive, and pointless, it doesn't add anything to the plot - nothing worth watching at least.

It's Jay's last few episodes and they've single-handedly ruined his past 9 seasons of character development in 2 episodes. He was the reason I started watching the show, and most people's favourite character, but I don't even recognise the Jay in this episode. It was a poor decision writing him out when him, Hailey, and Adam are the main reason people are even watching the show these days. Writing him out in this way is the worst way they could have done it, and shows how bad their writing has gotten and that they clearly don't know their characters. We can't even enjoy the last few episodes with him we have left.

I liked the fugitive storyline of the episode, it was fun to watch and a nice break from the usual drug cases. I loved seeing Adam's desperation throughout the episode, his acting (especially in these kinds of scenes) is incredible and he makes you feel what the character is feeling which is a hard thing to do. I'm also liking Torres' character from what we've seen from him, he's younger and brings a new perspective into the team.

All in all, the case was good but if they keep going like this with the rest of the storyline's i'm probably not gonna bother watching it once Jay leaves, it's not worth it.
