A Great Way To End A Series

Warning: Spoilers
Special Agent Oso is a great series for preschoolers, but like all show, it had to end sometime. Thankfully, Thundersmall, a thirty-minute episode, gives Oso a great conclusion.

After failing another training mission, Oso is introduced to Professor Buffo's newest invention, which shrinks things. However, things get out of hand, and Wolfie, Dotty, and Buffo are shrunken. Oso has to save the day, but when Paw Pilot tells him there are no special steps she knows of for the situation at hand, he needs to think up his own three special steps to save his friends.

For a preschooler show, this is one emotional series finale. Throughout the series, Oso has three special steps from his Paw Pilot to help him with helping kids (which in turn also teach him what he did wrong in his training, allowing him to do it right the second time), but here, he has no such help, as he has to save the agents who trained him by planning his own way. It can be seen as a metaphor of growing up, as kids would need help doing certain tasks, but when they get older, they can be capable of not only doing said tasks without help, but also find their own way to do them. This is the episode where Oso grows up, and with encouragement from Paw Pilot and even Mr. Dos, he saves the day, and as a result, Oso has completed his training, and is now a secret agent, making him a big kid.
