- A murder victim was about to go into witness protection after testifying against Israeli mobsters. The key to solving the crime may be in the hands of the victim's wife's enterprising life coach.
- The team is investigating the murder of a man. They learn from the FBI that the man was involved with a man who's a drug smuggler and that he was going to testify against him and then enter the Witness Protection Program. They talk to his wife and son and when asked if they told anyone about it, the son mentions that his mother has a life coach whom she told. They get the man and learn that he wrote a script about the man and his associates. So the man he was going to testify against could have found out about it and had him killed. So they bring the man in who upon seeing the life coach reveals that the life coach has been having an affair with the man's wife among others. And Rusty begins going to school. But after one day he is brought to Raydor because he fought some other kids injuring them seriously.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
- Major Crimes investigates the murder of Ilon Strauss who was shot when he opened the door to his house thinking it was his driver picking him up for work. Strauss ran a financial business with his long-time business partner Ilya Blum, but when the FBI showed up, Sharon learns that Strauss had agreed to give evidence against his partner and others, all of whom are members of an Israeli gang involved in drug smuggling. The Strauss' were to go into the witness protection program - something Strass' wife Roma told her 'life' coach, Thorn Woodson who, in turn, mentioned it to several others. In the middle if the investigation, Sharon also has to deal with her ward, Rusty, who faces trouble on his first day of school.—garykmcd
- Major Crimes investigates the death of Ilon Strauss, shot before he could disappear with family into the Witness Protection Program for testifying against his drug-smuggling business partner. The FBI believes the suspect list to be quite short since so few knew of Ilon's testimony - few, that is, until the discovery that his wife Roma shared everything she knew with Thorn Woodson, a tacky life coach who turned her stories, and those of other women, into a thinly veiled film script peddled before a few dozen filmmakers. As Major Crimes tries to narrow down the suspects, Capt. Raydor must deal with Rusty facing expulsion for sending several classmates to the infirmary on his first day of Catholic school.—statmanjeff
- Poor Rusty and 'babysitter' Buzz can't win: due to his guardian's job, the knave is woken up at night, yet very late for his new, doubtlessly temporary, Catholic school, nearly expelled and scolded for fighting off three ruffians after telling the u-incredible truth. Provenza is tempted to ask advice about his 'friend's' wrecked life from 'intuitive, strategic' life coach Thorn Woodson, a versatile crook and charmer all-the-way, into whom a murdered Israëli-born security firm co-founder Strauss's wife Roma confided everything after the couple and son Avi were listed for witness protection against family firm cover-partner and drug baron Ilya Blum.—KGF Vissers
