Better than the first episode I think it's fair to say, Maryam continues to be the standout, interesting character, I am finding it the reason for coming back for me, Parminder Nagra is once again excellent.
Helen is still not growing on me, but Catherine had a few good moments here. At times it still feels a little bit soap opera, I think some of the shouting in public moments, would you really see that in a hospital, I'm not sure.
It highlighted some of the problems that definitely do exist in The NHS, a lack of funding, and a definite lack of resources.
I'm still not fully engaged, but once again, I'd say it does improve as it develops.
