An excellent R&B song and moment for Chaka Khan, definitely my favorite track of hers along with "Ain't Nobody", the music presents her performing the song while
walking around passengers inside Los Angeles' Union Station, being the majority of them romantic couples, some are arguing with each other and there's a lonely character
just waiting for her loved one to come.
The whole setting is beautiful to look at, with the sun shining through the large windows (it seems like end of the afternoon) and
whenever I see this clip I keep reminding of the Grand Central sequence from "The Fisher King" which came five years later, there's something similar in the composition
even though the idea sold is slightly different - there's no dance moments in this clip except the punk couple fighting. The elderly couple looks so adorable even when the
lady notices her partner is talking something she doesn't agree, the look on her face is priceless since they go from a loving moment to almost bickering at each other.
The song is amazing, Khan has style, elegance and presence, and her higher notes on the chorus towards the ending is really hard to get imitated. So here's a performer
at their peak and on the top of the musical world. I just love hearing this track more and more. 9/10.
