Air crash Confidential - This show has a decent presentation, novel idea of clubbing together crashes based on their causes unlike analyzing one crash at a time. Having watched most episodes so far i was pleased with the show until i came upon season 2 episode 4- 'Systems failure'.They have got the facts right but definitely left out major stuff that they should have included in their episode. e.g they mentioned that the crisis aboard Qantas flight 32 was caused to due an oil pipe leakage but didn't mention about the below standard manufactured oil feed stub pipes in the first place and also that the debris from the planes did hit a house on the ground, and so on the list carries about forgotten facts. The disappointing part is all the above mention facts are available online at the click of a button.Yet this show didn't do its homework as even reading one of the accident reports would have clearly shown out the omitted stuff. On a closer look at the other episodes,, the story is the same- more and more facts that they seem to ignore . Telling about the personal stories of victims makes you feel more connected but the end of the day it is about the technical aspect that this shows clearly seems to lack. Being in the aviation field myself , i know even the tiniest of details can make you look at things differently i hope they up the technical accuracy of the show and at least bother reading the accident reports for a change. rating- 3/10
