Sex & Nudity

  • In the Redux version all nudity is covered but still a bit see through at sometimes.
  • In chapter 15, the main character has to visit a strip club, there it is possible to get a lap dance. This scene is completely optional and costs a fair bit of in game cash.
  • If the player pays for this they then have to sit down for several minutes as a topless stripper dances for you.
  • Most strippers in the joint are scantily clad but it is possible to look through doors at other topless women.
  • Several scenes women are being beaten by men. They say things such as, "Spread those legs for us!" while the women cry. No nudity is shown but these scenes, although avoidable, are disturbing.
  • There is a compulsory sex scene late in game. The player will briefly see the woman's nipple before the screen fades to black. (Not particularly graphic)
  • In the PC Version, the player can noclip (a cheat that allows the player to go through walls) to see fully detailed nude females in showers. No one really knows why the developers put this in the game (it's not possible to access without noclipping in the PC version, and isn't in the main game).
  • Teats can be seen on some mutant creatures.

Violence & Gore

  • There are scorpion/spider-like enemies who are sensitive to light and when they come in contact with light, they start burning up.
  • The primary enemies in the game are humans and mutant creatures who are fought above and underground.
  • In one scene a character is about to be hung by the nazis, however player shoots the nazis before the same person can be killed. This scene can be intense for some players.
  • Sometimes, you kill humans during a battle or confrontation underground but there is minimal blood splatter.
  • Playing the game stealthily is an option and easier to do then run and gun since you are limited on bullets.
  • It is implied that there are bodies wrapped up in sleeping bags, clothes, linen which are scattered about the environment.
  • There are frequently bodies scattered around the environment-some partically dismembered (Legs and arms missing)
  • If the player approaches an enemy human stealthily it is possible for a stealth move. They can then either knock out or kill the enemy. While the first option is not graphic (punch in the face) the latter is, usually involving the player slitting their throat or stabbing them from behind.
  • The game resembles WWII underground since there are two armies usually in conflict fighting for survival. The enemy side has a leader who resembles Hitler and an army who resemble the Nazis. It is implied that executions take place.

Profanity

  • Infrequent uses of F*ck (about 15 in the whole game) and one Motherf*cker.
  • Frequent uses of Sh*t and Bastard.
  • Overall not too bad for an M rated game.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • You see people smoking and drinking around the environment and possibly taking drugs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a Nazi concentration camp that you have to go through. It is not very graphic but there are a lot of prisoners in cages. You can free the prisoners later.
  • This is a horror game and while it is not as graphic as your average movie of the genre, it still has multiple jump scares and many adult themes.
  • Some of the mutants could be frightening to younger viewers and fighting them can be intense.
  • The idea of a futuristic Russia affected by radiation is depressing as well as the environment.
  • Some the opposition could be distressing to younger viewers.
