I walked out.
It takes a lot for me to do so, because I can think of only two other films I've done it at, but I walked out. This was a mystery movie at my local cinema. $5 for the ticket. No idea of the movie except R rated, not a horror, and about two hours play time.
I would have loved to got my money back.
I cannot explain how annoying I found both female lead characters, but Glazer's character alone was beyond annoying. They doubled down on that factor.
I got half way through, and kept giving Glazer and Pamela Adlon a chance for the good quality comedy I know they are capable of, and then a part happened when Shania Twain's "Let's go girls" trademark line blares out, and "Let's go!" to myself popped in my head.
I cannot believe that this was ever greenlit. Must have been a passion project that got pushed through by some buddy connections. This was garbage.
