Decent Movie

I liked it. Plot was good. It's not an awful movie. Don't listen to the "NAY" sayers. All these people who give it a bad review are probably the same people that enjoy watching South Park.

Ariana discovers her husband is having an affair with the nanny who ends up pregnant and plots revenge. Trouble is things don't go according to her plan at all. The acting was weak but the script was OK. Worth one watch.

Could have been good

Movie was decent until the hitmen took too long to make the hit. The wife shouldve shot them both when she had a chance. Then divorced the husband leaving him maxed out in debt. The movied failed at the very end.

Better than OK

I found this movie to be pretty good, and I was surprised that a Lifetime movie had 4 non-whites in a feature that actually had more than one line, LOL. I'm guessing that this movie wasn't actually made for the channel but was shown on it. I'm a big fan of Lifetime movies, and this one did not disappoint, it was better than OK. Tessa was somewhat annoying as Nia, I think maybe it was her voice that got on my nerves a little, but she was good. Sean Thomas I hadn't seen before Ringer, and he's good on there and good here too. Jordan Ladd was decent, but I couldn't get over how much older she looked since Never been kissed. The kid who played Cody was Super annoying! I could have done without him. Jordan and Ariana were not convincing as a couple that had ever been deeply in love, I just didn't buy them. Ariana didn't seem to have that busy of a life, yet her nanny knew more about her son than she did. I could have done without Ariana's black truffle/white truffle comment. The bad guys in the movie were a little to callous and icky for my tastes, but they were very convincing. I did like that Jordan was shown as a stand up father, even if he was a cheat.

Terrible film!

I watched this film on TV and was shocked at how awful it was. The acting was terrible, the storyline was worse, the henchmen were like something from a pantomime, and it was obvious all the way through exactly what was going to happen next. The music made it even worse and was really irritating all the way through. I looked it up on here because I thought it was a really old film, so was surprised to see it was only made in 2011. A real waste of some good actors, both female parts were played badly, very unconvincing. I almost felt like I wanted to hurry them along to get the film over with!!One of the worst films I have seen for a long time. Give it a wide berth!

REMAKE

Am I the only that knows this is a REMAKE of "Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear" with Josie Bisset?? It was a Lifetime movie. The upload may still be on YouTube if you can find it.

This may not be an official remake of that movie but the plot is pretty much the same! I like this modern version with the technology reference.

Terrible depth of thought

Nanny cheats with husband of couple she works for, gets pregnant, gets her friend killed in murder for hire plot of the wife and somehow becomes the heroine. Not well thought out on how heroes are made.

worst acting ever

Jordan Ladd was possibly the worst actress I have ever seen. The entire movie is a writing and acting train wreck. I can't add a spoiler because there is nothing to spoil...the whole thing is rotten. Absolutely terrible. The review requires a certain number of lines. I cannot imagine having 10 lines to say about this movie. It is that slow and that bad. I watch a lot of movies. This may be the worst of all times. And did I mention that Jordan Ladd is the worst actress of all time? I certainly hope she has some other means of income. OK...I keep getting the message that I need more text. They should let me off the hook on this movie. My review is now officially much better than the movie. I promise.

Suspenseful, but the acting leaves something to be desired.Jordan Ladd is horrible in this movie!

Sean Patrick Thomas although easy on the eyes,can not pull off a bad script.He is a great actor though.

Only a fool would think his wife would not suspect the affair!

Tessa Thompson as the lovestruck nanny fails also. The only characters who were authentic were the hired killers!

The movie is pretty predictable but it still holds your attention for a few hours.

I feel this movie would have been better if it had gone straight to DVD format, being shown on the Lifetime network will probably will not garner the viewership the producers hoped for.

Not Bad

I don't understand why people give a movie like this a 1 out of 10. Sometimes I get the impression that they feel like they are movie critics writing for some big time newspaper. It was okay, it doesn't really bog down like some of these indie flicks that have dull, boring, ordinary scenes that are somehow supposed to be making some kind of momentous meaningful statement. The plot is fairly simple, but at least it moves along and you want to see how it turns out. They make the guy and the nanny out to be decent people, though, when he was the one cheating on his wife, and she was the one sleeping with a married man.

The WORST Ever!!!

I had the Misfortune of watching this DRECK last night. Luckily there was a Fast Forward button and my poor husband went to 20 minutes left, to 10, I couldn't even bear 5 more minutes of this Pure CRAP! Everyone involved with this movie should be Ashamed of themselves! There was NO chemistry whatsoever between the husband and wife, or mother and son...You really HATE every character like the Witchy Wife, Spineless Husband and Goody Two Shoes Nanny! Shame Shame Shame! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.. you'll never get that 90 minutes of your life back!

Fun movie with lots of dark humor

Saw this movie for the first time a few months back. It was actually pretty fun. Lately, I've been watching a lot of Lifetime movies with my wife and found this to be sort of a "guy" film. Lots of dark humor in this one, especially from the two bad guys who show up later in the film. Although my wife didn't think they were that funny, I thought they were a hoot. Compared to other Lifetime type movies this one really has a higher production value. The computer visuals were pretty good.

The acting for the most part was good, except for Jordan Ladd. Wasn't sure what was wrong with her, but her performance seemed a little off. SPOILER ---- When Jordan Ladd needed to play the "the bad guy" she was okay, but when she attempted the "sweeter" moments-- she was just off.

All in all a pretty good little film. Much better then the typical Lifetime movie.

Too Much Technology- Murder on 13th Floor ***

The inter-racial couple had a marriage from Hades. How he could have been with her is beyond me. The child, Cody, is precocious and at the beginning of the film, he goes running up and down in the most technological apartment building of our times, go know that running around the building will become such an important facet of the film.

The two guys hired by the wife to kill the nanny needed to have MacCaulay Caulkin play tricks on them as he did in his "Home Alone" movies.

Unbelievable that the planned killing made to look as if it were a robbery gone wrong goes terribly wrong in itself and the bodies really begin to pile up.

Ariana and Jordan had absolutely no chemistry whatsoever.

I honestly thought (and hoped) that the wife would actually get revenge on her cheating husband and no good nanny. The movie in all was suspenseful, the actors did great, plot was good but I just didn't like the way it ended!

Seems like the message is saying the bad guys win in the end!

I liked all the technology stuff even though I wouldn't want my home spying on me & my family.

Now back to the ending.. I was hoping the wife came out on top even though she wanted them dead but who wouldn't? The only reason I decided to watch was to see her get her sweet revenge on her husband and mistress/nanny!!

Not exactly black and white

So if you like films where all the good guys are black, all the bad guys are white, I guess this is your film.

Sean Patrick Thomas who plays the father looks terribly bored and just isn't interesting to watch. He also looks too young to be some famous architect. Other castings are fine. Production looks like they spent enough money overall to make it believable.

It's got a couple unusual twists, and it's an unusual message of morals. The heroine is the nanny who is cheating with the husband, but in the end she gets rid of the wife, gets the husband, and steals their son. Strangely, this is presented as a happy ending.

I liked this film, it was a little slow and thought that all the actors did a good job. It annoys me so much when someone won't come out and say what needs to be said, but then there wouldn't be much suspense if they did!! Seriously I'm digressing, it does have black humour it's okay for both sexes and the bad guys are vicious comedy relief. I think some of it wasted on the technology, after all there are houses and so on like this now and most of us are savvy enough to know what it all means. Decent plot good acting, bit of fun don't take it so seriously and enjoy it in bed with some ice cream and partner or mates on a lazy afternoon.

Very Good Movie

I enjoyed this movie. It was indeed filled with suspense. This suspenseful thriller had a very good storyline. Terrell Ransom Jr. in his role as Cody Braxton performed extremely well for his young age. Sean Patrick Thomas,(Jordan Braxton), as usual was marvelous in his role. Tessa Thompson,(Nia Palmer), and Jordan Ladd,(Ariana Braxton), performances were very good as well. This movie captured my attention to the very end – by the way, I love what Nia said to Ariana on the roof, it made me laugh.

My only critique to this movie is that it needed a little more script after the roof scene to complete this movie, other than that, I really enjoyed it.

This movie made me think about modern technology of today and the future. It makes me wonder...who is, or will be watching, reading what we've typed on-line, and listening to everything we do? hmmm.
