EPIC: I Enjoyed Every Minute!

Warning: Spoilers
So the guy (Armand) who tried to kill Dwight now will be working for him? That's badass, love the way Dwight handled the situation. Nice to see Dwight doing business with Mitch, Mitch is a likeable character. I'd love to see Dwight going against Bad Face again. It seems like we got our new villain, this biker gang (Black Macadam) and their bald boss (Caolan Waltrip). We saw the ATF agents talking about this gang in the previous episode. I think it was about time that we saw Tyson's dad asking some questions about his son's job as a ''chauffer'', it makes sense. Dwight's brother has cancer? Damn that sucks.

Seeing the biker gang members beating up Tyson and Bodhi hurts man. I really like the team of people that now are working for Dwight, all of them are interesting characters. The actor that plays Tyson's dad gives an amazing performance. Bad Face is part of the team? Hell yeah! Team Dwight going against Black Macadam was epic. I love that Tyson's dad was willing to help protect his son even if he doesn't approve of Tyson's job. Dwight talking to his dying brother was really sad. Armand beating up his annoying neighbor was funny. Epic episode, really satisfying, my rating is 9/10. This show is amazing.

Stallone is going out with a Bang
ahmadz8397 December 2022
This episode definitely had a "Grand Theft Auto" meets "Cobra Kai" vibe to it. The realism has been thrown out the window, but it's still a fun watch. Without a doubt, Stallone is deserving of praise for his excellent performance this episode. The future looks promising for "Tulsa King" now that season two has been given the formal go-ahead, provided that the writing does justice to its cast. My only key complaint in "Visitation Place" is the inclusion of several scenes that felt out of place. Nevertheless, it was an entertaining episode; I had no idea how much I would appreciate a Stallone mafia comedy till now.

Rating: 7.6/10 (Impressive, Yet it doesn't quite hit the mark in every respect)

Let's Go My Children

Clearly the 39 minute episodes are here to stay. It is my one big problem and continued complaint with this series. Other than that, it has really hit its stride and found its niche.

The writing is good, although as I previously pointed out, the writers may be trying to tackle too many different storylines.

Stallone's one-liners are custom tailored and he wears them well. This episode brought 'Sopranos' alumnus, Max Casella, into the fold and Max always brings something good to the party.

The rivalry with the MCC is just heating up and appears certain to escalate.

Stallone's sometime fling, Agent Stacy Beale (Andrea Savage), was a bit of an afterthought this time around.

Clearly, Tyson (Jay Will), is going to have to make a choice.

Great show
atbaume7 August 2023
I really didn't expect to like this show at all. I think the premise is outlandish and yet the execution is very entertaining. There are no ground breaking ideas, characters are stereotypes and plot lines are not particularly innovative. Despite all of that the writing pulls the best out of a great group of actors with Sly leading from the front in a perfect star vehicle. I have been engaged since the first scene and at only 4 episodes in I am holding back from bingeing the lot because it will brighten many more nights if I show some self restraint. I do t really mind where the story goes (feels like I can probably guess) because the journey is worth it.

Visitation PLace

Warning: Spoilers
This show is really starting to grow on me. They have clearly thrown out realism and believability and turned in that badge in exchange for just being a fun mob and crime show and I am on board with that. Because it was very enjoyable television all the way down to playing Edwin Starr's "War" during a fight scene, even if it will always bring back memories of Rush Hour.

This is not a groundbreaking show by any measure, but this episode was absolutely good fun and this is a show that I think can be a real hit for Paramount+ if they keep advertising it the right way every commercial break of Yellowstone.
