Excellent show where former prosecutor Puck Peyton is on trial for abetting a kidnapper and Tommy Jefferson is ready to take advantage of the system but proves that he really has a heart when a couple decide to divorce after 60 years so that the Alzheimer's stricken husband can afford a nursing home with increased Medicaid payments. This is an excellent topic as so many of our seniors are faced with the same exact problem. Some might disagree that the story changes when we find out other reasons for a possible divorce in this lengthy marriage.
Both Fyvush Finkel of "Picket Fences" fame and Katharine Helmond are excellent in their roles as the elderly couple in utter despair.
The theme of tonight's episode was certainly ethical behavior as Harry defends Puck against the kidnapping charges. Jean Smart is an antagonistic, miserable person who finally confesses to Harry why she is the way she is.
