- A woman is missing the side of her mouth; we see bloody tissue and teeth showing through.
- An elderly woman is shown with a bloody bullet wound to the eye.
- A young boy tears away at a picture, and he is seen out of focus behind the picture with his face caved in. There is bloody tissue.
- A girl falls and cuts her hand on a shard of glass, we see blood and the open cut.
- A woman holds her son by the arm and slaps him numerous times as he cries. Her husband steps in and stops her.

- Animal cruelty of cat getting his neck crushed by a door several times. I had a very hard time watching that scene since I have a cat of my own and I wouldn't even think do that to my cat.
- A family discovers their next door neighbor is abusive; he slaps his son, we hear him having a loud dispute with his wife, and we see his wife with bruises. We later hear the man shot his wife, son, mother, and himself. We see the body of the son being wheeled out on a stretcher, we hear that his skull caved in when he was shot, and we see the bloody sheet sinking into the large hole.
- A man shoots through a closet; his young son is inside. We see blood drip from the closet, and we see the boy with bullets in his shoulder. He survives.
