This series is going to be a masterpiece! Mark my words.

Warning: Spoilers
After this episode I finally understood what the directors are trying to do. If you haven't read the book about Billy Milligan, this series might come over as confusing. But trust me, if the fully story is explained you will be mind blown. For me (someone who read the book) I can already see where this is going. I will now give you some spoilers so don't read any further if you want to experience the series as the directors are trying to. Danny has dissociative identity disorder. All these characters in the story, Ariana, Yithzak, Jack, ... are all identities of Danny. Danny visualizes these characters and they are all him! In this episode it is made very clear. Note that when the detective asked how he knew what Jack was talking about in the phone booth (even though Danny wasn't in the phone booth) and Danny just answers I don't remember really well. Well, that is because Danny is Jack. In the end of the episode the detective is interviewing "Jack" but this really is just Danny changing his identity.

Tom Holland at his best

Warning: Spoilers
Danny's imagination is evident in his stories to Rya, including Ariana, Yitzhak, and Jack. The Crowded Room is hesitant to reveal this, but someone must recognize it and provide insight into Danny's journey to that stage. Danny's lack of awareness about his condition leads to fear and paranoia about others. Holland's skill in expressing these emotions is impressive. Following his journey through Danny's story is more rewarding than following the series through its creators' eyes. Despite the shocking true story of Sullivan, The Crowded Room has failed to impress. In Episode 4, Danny arrives in London and visits the Royal Travel Agency, where his father, Pete Sullivan, was supposed to work. However, Pete never worked there, and Jack recognizes Danny as his spitting image. They meet at a bar and encounter trouble when a customer calls Danny a not nice name Jack confronts him and apologizes, but Danny is forced to apologize. Yitzhak calls Jack to prepare Danny for the mission, and he is sent to London. Danny reveals that Ariana, Jack, and Yitzhak conspired to use Danny for their ulterior ends, including the Marlin shooting. Rya questions Danny's narration coherence and doubts the accuracy of his events. Jack offers him 3000 pounds to complete the job, and Danny must go on his behalf to collect the money owed to Jack and Pete. Reggie Silver offers to help, but Danny refuses, rejecting any financial obligation or obligation to Pete or Jack. He panics when Jack is nowhere to be found, and eventually shows up at Danny's hotel room, beseeching him to confront the challenges in front of him. Danny returns to New York and finds no signs of Yitzhak or Ariana at the boarding house. He is arrested and accused of being the "mastermind" behind the operation. He pleads innocence and admits to being a victim. Rya visits Danny the next morning, but finds Jack, who has taken over from him. Rya suggests telling the truth to Danny, but Jack rejects the idea, stating it would be catastrophic for him. Danny Sullivan's narrated events were questioned after he failed to murder Marlin in The Crowded Room Season 1 Episode 4. After disappearing without Ariana, Danny entered panic mode and flew to London, where he believed his father lived. The lingering doubt was resolved when it was revealed that most of his events did not happen as described. Danny, a young boy, is searching for his father and encounters Jack, a former associate, who shares a story of Peter's whereabouts. After shooting Marlin, Danny realizes he has made a significant mistake. His parents, like most children, were the only safe place for him, but Danny's stepfather was a poor excuse and his mother was overworked and fearful of God. The only remaining option is to find Pete, hoping he will hold any sentiments for his son and help him.
