There were numerous interruptions during both fight scenes. Shot in Woodside, NY, many passerbys disrupted the fight scene between Batman (Abraham Danz) and The Scalpel (Mandy Evans-Brown). At one point, one car pulled up and its driver asked Danz for an autograph. Deep in the scene, Danz turned him down, and the driver got out of the car and into Danz's face, threatening violence. Fight choreographer Brian Morvant talked the man down and the scene was saved. Maybe fifteen minutes later, an ambulance pulled up to the scene, warning the production that someone had called the police. The production was wrapped by that time, so left anyway. During the Dent fight scene shot at Long Island, a boat docked and out came two young men drinking and smoking. They began to fire away a series of questions to the film crew, and because little could be done, production was stalled for quite some time. Eventually, they left, and the scene was filmed.
Bobby Kruger (Harvey Dent) knocked heads with Chaka DeSilva (Bruiser) at one point during the fight scene and had to take a very short time-out.
