While The Strangers: Part 2 continues to struggle to get greenlit, star Liv Tyler is a hot commodity among the horrorverse. While Summit is hoping to land Tyler, the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, for The Cure, Bloody Disgusting exclusively is being told that an offer has been made for her to topline The Hell Within, a new horror film to be executive produced by horror legend John Carpenter. The story, which is penned by Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train, Insanitarium), tells the story of a woman (Tyler) who goes on a quest into the heart of a Brazilian jungle to save a girl, only to discover that the girl was bait. Brazilian director Dennison Ramalho is to get behind the camera in the Amazon jungle in Brazil.

Dominic Cooper (Captain America, The Devil's Double) and Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings, The Strangers) are apparently keen on roles in Dennis Iliadis' The Cure, reports ShockTillYouDrop. Iliadis (The Last House on the Left) was attached to the thriller in 2009 scripted by Beau Thorne which Groundswell has been developing. Cooper would play Jeff who is desperate to cure his dying wife, Mary (played by Tyler), and gives her over to a strange doctor for an unconventional form of treatment. Unfortunately, the cure ends up converting her into a killer who craves blood. Michael London, Janice Williams, Brian Witten and Michael Connolly.
