Bobby Flay isn't worried that there ever will be too much cooking on television.
The popular culinary personality returns -- along with fellow mentors/judges Giada De Laurentiis and Alton Brown -- to start Season 9 of the Food Network contest "Food Network Star" Sunday, June 2. In a time that also has yielded ABC's "The Chew" and "The Taste," and CBS' upcoming "The American Baking Competition," Flay doesn't consider the TV food market overcrowded.
"I think it's great," he tells Zap2it. "The more television exposure to food this country has, the better. It makes people more savvy about food, and it gives a sense of what's available for them to cook and to eat.
"I think we're eating healthier, better-tasting food basically across every demographic and every price point, and it's wonderful. I sometimes hear people say the field's getting really crowded, but I say, 'Bring it on.'...
