New Zealand-based sales and distribution company Black Mandala has picked up international rights to Spanish-language genre film and 2023 festival hit “I’ll Crush Y’All” (aka “Os Reviento”).
Portrayed by Mario Mayo, Gabriel, better known as ‘Tarado,’ is a former boxer who lives in a secluded village outside the city with his father and his dog. He could still box, but to avoid what led him to spend a few years in prison, he prefers to lead a quiet life. The death of his father and the shady dealings he was hiding attract a wide range of characters to his home, each with worse intentions than the last: a brother with a troublesome new girlfriend, an angry admirer, mobsters with dark purposes, and thugs looking for a stolen bag of money.
It debuted at the FantasticFest in September and won the audience prize at both FantasticFest and the Sitges genre film festival.

Okay, let’s get the first thing straightened, yes, that is rape, the guy in ‘Don’t Breathe‘ is wrong.
Now, onto the-eh, “twist”. First of all, that wasn’t a twist. Seriously, I looked at the back of the DVD case, it said there was a twist, I watched the ending several times over, and thought I missed something,… I finally had to look it up online to see what the hell everybody was talking about, and that’s when I realized, “Oh, that twist?” Does that even count? And, no, I don’t think it rightfully does. And if it does, it’s a twist, in a jokey manner if anything. It’s basically the same punchline from the joke about the guy talking about parking in his car with a date who asks him to put the top down, and his friend wonders why it took his car three hours,...

Xavier Palud, the director of the ridiculously bad remake of The Eye and the stellar little French film Ils (Them), is back with another tale of murder and mayhem from his homeland. Get ready to meet the Blind Man, or À l'aveugle for you purists out there, in this new trailer.
Directed by Palud and produced by Luc Besson (Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element), the flick stars Jacques Gamblin, Lambert Wilson, Raphaëlle Agogué, and Nathalie Vignes.
In the film Gamblin plays a solitary cop investigating a cold case, who suspects that a blind man (Wilson) is the killer, sparking a battle of wits between the two. Look for domestic release details soon as the flick has just entered post-production.
