When Mary clicks over from Ruby's website rubyrealgirl.com to the body mod site abstrakt.me, the content for abstrakt.me shows in the browser window but the web address in the browser bar still lists a page on rubyrealgirl.com.
At 13 minutes into the film, When Mary grabs the phone from the table you can see that the $100 bill on top of the cash stack has the wrong picture on it. On a real US $100 bill the photo would be of Benjamin Franklin, but it is visibly prop money with a photo of someone else.
Despite the film being set in Seattle, Washington, several characters clearly speak with a distinct Canadian accent (the filming was done in Vancouver, British Columbia).
When Mary is packing up her apartment, a box is incorrectly labeled as 'glasswear' instead of glass ware.
Dr. Grant calls Mary on her phone making it clear that she shouldn't be late for her exams and he expects to see her there. Dr. Grant is a college professor, not a high school teacher. Mary choosing, intentionally or unintentionally, to be late or miss a class shouldn't be his concern. These are classes that she's paying for out of her own pocket as established by Mary herself, her not showing up or being late is entirely on her, no one is forcing Mary to show up for class.
