ZOMBIES IN THE WOOD is a British indie short from amateur filmmaker Jason Impey. It's one of his earlier efforts, notable in the youthfulness of the main cast members. The tale is Impey's tribute to NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, shot in black and white and featuring a zombie outbreak taking place in a rural location. The cheap gore effects are laughable rather than disturbing, and the metal soundtrack more off-putting than anything else.
