A very touching tribute to a larger than life character
I don't care to write reviews, but seeing this with no comments or reviews, really felt like such a travesty to such a great character.
Elisabeth Sladen left a legacy spanning many years, and generations of viewers, when she died of cancer. She represented a whole era of sci-fi, and drama, and the latest series was a massive hit with hard core Dr Who fans, as well as entire new generations of kids and adults alike!
She will be very sorely missed by many I am sure!
This short special is a very fitting, and quite touching tribute, to the person and the character. She worked right until the end as long as she could, and has i'm sure, touched many, many lives. My children were distraught when we finally told them she had died, but at the very least she continues to live on in everyone who watched the many shows and series she was in!
A series of recollections, and personal anecdotes, it's presented by the people who knew and worked with her, with a combination of great affection, sincerity and integrity, and doesn't get morbid at all, and should be watched by any fan of her, no matter the age!
Bravo, my Sarah Jane!
