Storyline
Did you know
- GoofsWhen some of the house members are talking about how strange their new fill-in paramedic Emma is, Ritter says that although she said she went to Johns Hopkins University for medical school, he called the school and they didn't have a record of her having attended there.
Universities don't just release the academic and enrollment records of their students to strangers who call. In order to get any information about a current or former student, Ritter would have had to make a formal transcript request or present a release form signed by the person in question allowing the school to provide records.
- Quotes
Blake Gallo: You ready? What's up?
Darren Ritter: I called admissions at Johns Hopkins, asked about Emma Jacobs.
Blake Gallo: You called them?
Darren Ritter: Yep. Had a hunch. She never attended that school.
Blake Gallo: Why would she lie about that?
Darren Ritter: No idea. But I'm telling you, there's something off about her.

Yes, this is nitpicky...
You do NOT make TX brisket on a Weber grill. Have any of the writers ever talked to anyone who makes brisket? TX style brisket is known for being cooked low and slow, in a smoker. It's a 12 to 18 hour process, depending on the size of the brisket, the smoker, and the pit master techniques.
Also, I suppose it's possible that some pit master somewhere uses cumin, but that seems very unusual -- I've never heard of anyone doing that. The best brisket in the world -- Franklin, in Austin, TX -- is seasoned with really high quality salt and pepper.
Fifteen minutes of Googling would have provided this information, so I'm sorry - I need to give the writers a big fail for not bothering to make sure they had facts concerning something they obviously aren't knowledgeable about.
