- Bobby: [Sees Little Bill draw on April's door] Ooohh, you're in trouble.
- April: [Opens door] Who's in trouble?
- [Angrily]
- April: LITTLE BILL! Mom! Mom!
- Brenda: Alright, alright, what's going on?
- Bobby: Look!
- Brenda: Little Bill? What happened?
- Little Bill: I don't know.
- Brenda: Well, who drew on April's door?
- Bobby: It wasn't me.
- April: Well I didn't!
- Brenda: Little Bill, do you want to tell me what happened?
- Little Bill: [Lying] Elephant did it.
- Brenda: Is that really what happened?
- Little Bill: I don't know.
- April: Little Bill.
- Little Bill: I don't know! LEAVE ME ALONE!
- Brenda: Little Bill, I want you to go to your room. I'll be there in a minute and we can talk about this.
- Brenda: What's wrong, Little Bill?
- Little Bill: Mama, please can I go outside and play? Pleaaaaaase?
- Brenda: I'm sorry baby, you need to rest your arm.
- Little Bill: But I wanna ride my bike with Bobby.
- Brenda: I don't think so, honey. Why don't you color?
- Little Bill: How come I can't ride my bike and Bobby can?
- Brenda: Bobby doesn't have his arm in a cast. You do.
- Little Bill: It's not fair. I can't do anything I want to do!
- Brenda: Why don't you color?
- Little Bill: I don't wanna color.
- Brenda: Well, we have all kinds of fun toys to play with.
- Little Bill: I don't wanna play with my toys.
- Little Bill: [Looks out the window and sees Bobby ride his bike and his friends playing, then walks to Brenda] When can I take this cast off?
- Brenda: When your arm is all better, honey.
- Little Bill: I want it to be better now. I wanna go outside. I wanna play with my friends.
- Brenda: Baby, until your arm gets better, you have to stay inside and do quiet things, alright?
- Little Bill: Ok, mama.
- [Walking to the hallway]
- Bobby: [Comes in the door with a flat wheel] Hey, Little Bill.
- Little Bill: Hey.
- Bobby: What's wrong?
- Little Bill: I can't go outside.
- Bobby: [Stunned] That's too bad.
- Little Bill: I wanna ride my bike with you.
- Bobby: What if you fell and hurt your arm again?
- Little Bill: I won't fall. I'm a great bike rider.
- Bobby: Yeah, but you still have to be careful.
- Little Bill: What happened to the rest of your bike?
- Bobby: I left it outside.
- Little Bill: Why?
- Bobby: Because I got a flat tire.
- Little Bill: You can't ride anymore? You wanna play a game with me?
- Bobby: I can still ride, Little Bill. I just have to put air in my tire, put the tire back on the bike, and zoom, it's off.
- Little Bill: Can I help put the pump on your tire, Bobby? I'm a good tire pumper. Whoosh, whoosh, whooshhhhhhh.
- Bobby: You can't pump air in a tire with only one arm, Little Bill.
- Little Bill: Whoooooshhhhhhh...... why not?
- Bobby: You have to be careful, so that you can't hurt your arm while it's healing.
- Little Bill: I know.
- Bobby: Don't worry. Your arm will be better soon. And I'll get another flat tire, and you can pump air in it all you want.
- [Little Bill sighs]
- Bobby: See ya.
