LOVED the animation however the plot seemed very boring to me honestly. The opening wasn't interesting either.
We didn't get to understand the side of rodys father story and how did he end up dying exactly, how did they know the cop who was a part of the attack, and most importantly HOW was rody able to attach the key even though they clearly showed that his quirk vanished when he collapsed, and all of a sudden the bird was on top of the key.
I don't like the fact the deku mastered using the whip quirk even though it just suddenly appeared in one the episodes in season 5 and his progress wasn't revealed whatsoever, just all of a sudden he's so good at using it.
I also hoped for something new and different in the fight scenes of deku however that did not happen, he kept repeating the same attack until it somehow worked.
Overall, the movie had so many shortcomings and holes in the plot, to me at least. As an mha fan I'm disappointed with the movie but I don't regret watching it :)
