Bad acting and directing in an obvious story
siderite2 November 2023
Why try to watch this? Because of Jessica Green, of course, who is really cute. Also because I kind of liked The Outpost and I had hope that she was going to do better than she did in that one.

But while The Outpost was an amateurish series, it was clearly cared about. I don't know the particulars, yet it seemed like showrunners and actors alike were trying to do the best they could with limited resources. This film, though, is something that you know what it wants to be and how it will go and where it will end from the first five minutes. The rushed dialog and acting just scream "cash grab" from the onset. The horrendous unicorn makeup made me think (hope? :D) that it was actually a horror movie. There was no redeeming quality that would convince me to continue to watch this film after the first 15 minutes.

Bottom line: I tried and failed to watch this film. It's simply not worth my time.

Worth watching
This movie caught my eye and is worth watching because I like stories about Unicorns and it has Jessica Green in it. Jessica Green has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen and she is a fascinating actor. I try to find and see every movie or TV series she appears in. That alone is a reason for me to watch this movie. She was in the CW network sword and sorcery show The Outpost and I found that she was the main reason to watch this show. Since then I have searched for other sightings of her, the last I saw she was in FBI International. I am also seeing that she is in the latest Matt dAMON FILM, aIR.

As for the movie, it is a great coming of age story and features as its main animal creature, a unicorn. The special effects with its horn, I found magical.

This is a great children's movie and it worth a view on a winters afternoon. I recommend it for kids that love unicorns, horses and pot belly pigs.

I. hope this movie does well and that we see more movies with Jessica Green and she has a great movie career like Meg Foster.
