- Very violent and action-packed episode, a lot of zombies are shot and stabbed and a few people get eaten.
- An extremely violent and Action-packed episode. Lots of zombies are graphically killed and multiple people are killed with graphic unflinching detail.
- A lot of zombies are shown throughout the episode and all of them have gory wounds. A lot of gore and violence/blood is shown in this episode.
- Zombies are shown eating a deer and its organs graphically for several seconds. This is extremely explicit and stomach-churning.
- Hundreds of zombies are set on fire inside a barn.
- Several characters drive around in cars and on motorbikes and shoot zombies with graphic blood spurts.
- A man hits a zombie with a car and blood splatters all over the windshield.
- A man inside a trailer shoots several zombies before driving over to rescue a man and a boy. They leap on top of the trailer but zombies burst in and eat into the man's legs and neck with gruesome gore. The man on top of the trailer shoots zombies and blood is shown splattering on the windshield from inside the trailer.
- A man and a woman defend a farmhouse by shooting a lot of zombies with a rifle and a handgun. Graphic blood is shown and some gore very briefly.
- Patricia's neck gets bitten by zombies and the inside of it is ripped out with extreme graphic blood and gore before she is eaten alive. This is extremely graphic and bloody/gory but not very sad.
- A woman shoots three zombies in the head, face and eye with brutal gore.
- Hershel desperately shoots every zombie he sees with a rifle to try protect his farmhouse (extremely bloody and violent) and a zombie comes up behind him and nearly bites him before Rick shoots it graphically, splattering blood all over Hershel's face.
- Two men shoot zombies and bash their brains in before escaping. Bloody.
- Andrea bloodily shoots several zombies while grabbing her bag.
- A farmhouse chaotically burns to the ground.
- An extremely explicit, graphic, gory, bloody, terrifying and intense episode.
- This is a brilliant and poignant episode of a great show but it should be noted that if you have watched up to this point in the show and can just about handle everything you've seen, the chances of you being able to watch the rest still aren't high. The seasons after this are way, way, WAY more violent than Season 2.
- After the crazy zombie battle a lot of people and vehicles are shown covered in blood.
- A starved and sleep-deprived woman is attacked by zombies in the woods. She smashed one's face off a tree with blood before crushing its head with her boot offscreen. She then shoots three with brutal and realistic blood sprays.
- Very gruesome and explicitly realistic and stomach-churning violence in this episode.
- A woman scratches a man's face in a fit of anger and sadness.
- A woman smacks a zombie with a gun before proceeding to smash its head open graphically and disgustingly in closeup. She then stabs a zombie in the nostril with a knife with small blood spurt before collapsing from exhaustion. A zombie attacks her but before it can bite her the zombie is explicitly decapitated by a woman with a sword who has two gory zombies chained to her. She shakes the blood off her sword.
