The Backstreet Boys took a break from their DNA world tour to hit up the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday night. I had the pleasure of attending, marking my fifth time seeing the band live, and let me just say that they somehow always manage to make each show better than the last.
The Backstreet Boys performed a handful of their hits, including "I Want It That Way," "Larger Than Life," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," and "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," but perhaps the most emotional moment of the night was when they closed out the show with their latest single, "Let It Be Me," with Steve Aoki.
In the music video (which was released earlier this month), the band features real-life couples sharing their stories of how love helped them overcome obstacles in their lives. The Backstreet Boys basically re-created the video when they brought out those same couples on stage,...

Now that's how you kick off an award show! Ahead of the MTV VMAs on Monday night, Backstreet Boys set the mood by giving a high-energy performance during the preshow. The '90s boy band made us swoon with their incredible vocals and choreography as they sang their hit song "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" on top of Radio City Music Hall. The performance marked 20 years since the band made their debut at the MTV VMAs in 1998. Suddenly, we feel like lovestruck teenagers all over again. See their performance ahead.

Backstreet Boys are back, and we couldn't be happier. The group has been busy promoting their new single "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," and on Thursday night they gave a special performance of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. After joining the host and The Roots for a special classroom instruments session of "I Want It That Way," the '90s boy band proceeded to make our hearts melt with their slick dance moves and swoon-worthy voices. Whether they're performing or adorably surprising fans in elevators, they still make us feel like lovestruck teenagers.

This gives us all the feels! The Backstreet Boys recreated one of their hottest songs ever while appearing on the June 28 episode of The Tonight Show, opting for a fresh version of "I Want It That Way." Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Aj McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough showed off their vocal prowess alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. Using classroom instruments for an extra flare, the group nailed their performance and fans were loving it! The iconic video is already trending and several commenters are enjoying the nostalgia to the fullest. "One of my favorite bands off all time, keep it up guys, you look exactly the same as 15 years ago, we love ya'll," a fan wrote. "I would say Backstreet's back, but they were never gone," another hilariously added, while one more noted: "I didn't know I needed this, but now I don't know what I would've done...

Do I know why the Backstreet Boys decided to perform their new, very poppy hit, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" at the Cmt Awards, of all places? And actually, do I even care why? The answer to both of those questions is No, because I'm still hypnotized by the gloriously '90s choreography the boy band (man band?) pulled off on Wednesday night. The group, which picked up an award for their collaboration with Florida Georgia Line earlier in the evening, will instantly transport you back to your teenage days watching Trl after school with their moves, so check out a glimpse of them below.

Here's a mashup we never saw coming! Following the Backstreet Boys' wildly successful release of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" earlier this week, Aj McLean celebrated by attending Taylor Swift's Reputation stadium tour in Pasadena, CA, on Friday. "Ended the week celebrating a #1 record with the incredible @taylorswift13!" the singer wrote on Twitter. "Thanks so much for hooking me and the fam up tonight!!" He even shared an adorable selfie of them showing off their matching black fingernail polish. Now if only we could get Taylor to collaborate with the Backstreet Boys for a song.

The Backstreet Boys are officially back, alright. After almost five years of no new music, the '90s boy band dropped their single "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" on Thursday, and we can't stop listening. Not only is the song incredibly catchy, but the music video will take you straight back to 1997. Seriously, from the lights to the synchronized choreography, we're getting major déjà vu from their hit song "All I Have to Give."
Even though this is their first music video in half a decade, they've certainly been keeping busy. Aside from collaborating with Florida Georgia Line and traveling with fans during their annual cruise, they've been selling out shows for their Las Vegas residency. Hopefully this means a full-length album is on the way! Until then, we'll just be playing this video on repeat.
