We love you, Owen.
This show aired the day after the Over the Edge Pay-per-view, during which Owen Hart died after falling from the rafters of the arena. I remember bawling my eyes out when that happened. The next night's Raw became a tribute to Owen Hart. The show opens with a ten bell salute to Owen, followed by a video tribute to Owen narrated by Vince McMahon. Throughout the show clips of WWF performers giving their thoughts on Owen are played. The first match is Jeff Jarrett versus Test. X-Pac and Kane defend the Tag Team Championship against Edge and Gangrel. The Hardy Boyz face Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki. Bob Holly takes on Ken Shamrock. Billy Gunn takes on Mankind. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry face the Acolytes. The Road Dogg and The Godfather are supposed to have a match, but decide to smoke weed and swap Owen stories instead. Triple H faces Al Snow. The Big Show takes on Goldust. Val Venis faces the Rock. The show ends with Steve Austin raising a beer in tribute to Owen.
