Sex & Nudity

  • This episode does not contain any explicit sexual content or nudity. There is one line that will most likely fly over the children's heads, though: Autobot Bulkhead remarks that Agent Fowler has "big bearings", which is the Transformers' way of saying someone has "big balls".

Violence & Gore

  • The episode contains many examples of brutal violence and gore, which may not be suitable four younger kids. Most of this is robot-based, yet shown in a very graphic manner, which some might find unsettling.
  • Noteworthy examples are:
  • The re-animated Cliffjumper attacks several Eradicon troopers. He bites off the arm of one, then crushes his head, while the poor trooper cries in pain. He also destroys some more Eradicons during his rampage.
  • The Autobots' way of disabling the Eradicon troopers is also very violent. Many of the troopers are run over or shot, and one is even decapitated by an Autobot.
  • The final scene involves a Decepticon dropping a bomb near the Autobots, which results in a massive explosion.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The only thing that might be comparable to using drugs or alcohol is Megatron's usage of Dark Energon. He stabs himself with crystals made of this substance, which causes him to grow stronger, but it also has the effect of slowly driving him insane.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The episode contains many, purposely frightening scenes and the action is also frantic and intense.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The Decepticon leader Megatron re-animates the corpse of Cliffjumper, who was killed in the previous episode, but since he turns into a mindless killing machine, Megatron slices him in half, then kicks him off a ledge. Cliffjumper's remaining half bounces off many platforms, but still lives in agony. At the end of the episode, he is caught in the middle of an explosion.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Smaller kids might find the sight of Cliffjumper's re-animated corpse going berserk, all the while crying in a scary voice, nightmare-inducing. Cliffjumper's half-destroyed body is also very frightening to see.
