Learn more- Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke waste no time getting to the results after a fiery night of competition. The three top scorers are called to the stage first.
To the results: Audrina & Tony, Brandy & Maks, and Jennifer & Derek come out to learn their fates. Even Tom can't squeeze much drama out of the moment, quickly telling all three couples they're safe.
Play it again...: Not much of a surprise as Len asks for Jennifer & Derek to reprise the Argentine tango that on Monday night earned the first 10s of the season.
Be our guests: We're magically whisked away to 1998 as Goo Goo Dolls take the "Dancing" stage to perform "Iris" and their new single, "Notbroken." Later, the cast of Forever Tango paid a visit and showed some mad dance skills. After that, Florence and the Machine performed "Dog Days Are Over."
Unfinished business: Addressing something Len mentioned Monday night about how he doesn't go around ripping his shirt off, Tom asked for the director to roll a clip of a "Dance Center" segment with Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice in which Len, in fact, appeared shirtless behind the desk.
Back to the results: Bristol & Mark and Kyle & Lacey are called to the stage next. Kyle & Lacey are safe. That leaves Bristol & Mark in jeopardy.
Rick & Cheryl and Kurt & Anna came out next. The next couple definitely coming back next week is Rick & Cheryl. Kurt & Anna, meanwhile, are still in jeopardy.
In his testimonials after being scored by the judges, "The Situation" was upset that the judges didn't acknowledge the progress he's made in the competition. He got up and stormed away, saying, "I'm done with it."
"The Situation" & Karina join Florence & Corky on stage for the next set of results. Sure enough, Florence & Corky are safe, while "The Situation" & Karina are still in jeopardy.
Finally, the second-to-last couple safe is revealed to be Kurt & Anna. Down to Bristol & Mark and "The Situation" & Karina, the couple leaving the competition is "The Situation" & Karina.
In a bit of an extended exit interview, "The Situation" gets a chance to express how committed he's become to the show and the competition, but if the fourth round is his time to go, "It is what it is."
