Hondo Field is a provocative episode that manages to weave together oil rigs, feminism, and undocumented migrants. I've just started watching Law and Order: Los Angeles, and I think it's sadly underrated, but if I was the showrunner for a day, I would have had proper opening credits, and also to jettison the rotating deputy district attorneys as this got a bit jarring week by week.
Anyway, the Los Angeles feel was well captured, way far from the gritty streets of New York. Anyway, maybe Law and Order: Los Angeles can be rebooted because I think it could have been a contender to stand on its own.
