- Having magically assumed Igraine's appearance, Morgan can gather confidential information at Camelot, even from Merlin, and 'slip out' to Leontes that Guinevere has an adulterous affair with Arthur. Even Merlin doesn't find her out, despite her recurring horrible metamorphosis cramps. After Redwald, the endearing orphan young Merlin and the real Igraine care for as ward, is accidentally pushed and falls to his death when she fears he'll denounce her, Merlin swears merciless punishment and Morgan returns to Uther's castle. There Sybil ordered guardsman Donal to strictly guard Igraine in the secret dungeon, but he lets her seduce him into sex for his freedom, only to be fatally stabbed. Vivian refused to help her escape but doesn't report it either. During the knights friendly hunting competition, Leontes discerns the elusive magical wolf Morgan conjured.—KGF Vissers
