You can feel the love from everyone involved infused in it's every crevice
All the characters feel fleshed out, things have natural consequences in world, there is so many little details to think about, the plot is interesting and refreshing, the voice acting is beautiful, genuine queer rep, ect, ect.
I love that even the descriptions themselves add yet another layer of mystery to theorise over. And the dialogue! Man, the way things are described and the way every word is utilised is just breath taking!
But it still manages to balance the simplicity of a summer camp well with everything else, so you never feel too overwhelmed or out of depth (the sound track captures this masterfully!)
At first listen it may seem to be breaking the show don't tell rule, but then they divert your expectations by this actually just being the everyday and even explore how Sydney overshares. This to say things aren't said just for the sake of plot and you never get babied.
Overall, I'd recommend this to just about anyone (not including kids), and it's relatively short (34 epoisodes, 20min each) so there's really no reason not to check it out :))
