Actress Hayley Hasselhoff has been charged with a DUI following an arrest in late December, reports RadarOnline.
According to the website, Los Angeles prosecutors formally filed the charges against former "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff's youngest daughter on Jan. 3, and she faces up to six months in jail if convicted.
A source revealed the 20-year-old, who appeared on the short-lived 2010 reality series "The Hasselhoffs," as well as the short-lived ABC Family series "Huge," is planning to fight the charges.
This isn't the first time the aspiring actress' last name has made alcohol-related headlines.
In 2007, her older sister Taylor recorded and uploaded a video of her father's drunken rant while eating a cheeseburger, as she pleaded with him to stop drinking and uploaded it to YouTube. In 2009, the actor allegedly was rushed to the hospital and treated for alcohol poisoning on multiple occasions, though his reps denied the reports.

So yeah, this was kind of inevitable, right? I'm actually astounded it didn't happen earlier. Human meme David Hasselhoff, formerly of the feathered hair and Baywatch fame, could pass for a one-time pornstar. He's got the leathery face and flashy clothes for it.

David Hasselhoff had a very short run with the reality series about him and his two daughters, but he claims it served its purpose anyway.
The "Baywatch," "Knight Rider" and "America's Got Talent" alum saw exactly two episodes of "The Hasselhoffs" air before A&E canceled it last December. Now as then, he takes it in stride, especially since the show has had a full run in England and has one upcoming in Germany -- countries where he's also a music superstar.
"'Knight Rider' got horrible reviews, and it was a success," Hasselhoff tells Zap2it. "'Baywatch' got slammed, and it was another huge success. 'The Hasselhoffs' got great reviews, and I said to the girls, 'We're in trouble. People like this show.' We weren't 'Hoarders.' Maybe we should have moved all our furniture out on the front lawn and screamed, but we're not like that.

David Hasselhoff has confirmed he is heading back to acting after an extended stint in reality TV with plans to star in a new detective show and a film project.
The Baywatch star has turned his attentions to light entertainment shows in recent years, with failed family fly-on-the-wall series The Hasselhoffs, which was cancelled after two episodes, an appearance on Dancing with the Stars last year and judging roles on Simon Cowell's America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent.
He has briefly returned to his acting roots with a small guest appearance in the rebooted Knight Rider TV movie in 2008, Easter-themed comedy film Hop, as well as reprising his former role in soap opera The Young and the Restless - but he is now set to make acting his priority once again.
Hasselhoff reveals he is working on a new cop show in the style of Edward Woodward's famous 1980s detective series The Equalizer, and a secret film production, as well as another reality TV project.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "I'm developing some TV shows right now, more along the lines of The Equalizer. You know, like a cool, undercover cop. I like that stuff... I can't say too much about the film, but it's funny. The reality show's called Same Name. I switched places with another David Hasselhoff and lived in Texas with his family while he went on tour for me and lived with my family in L.A."...

The show followed the former America's Got Talent judge and Baywatch legend, 58, as he guided the music careers of his two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley. The first episode aired on Sunday night and drew 718,000 viewers - and viewership for the second installment, which aired on the same night, dropped to 505,000. The Hoff's been turned off. David Hasselhoff's new reality show has been yanked from A&E after a less than whopping two episodes, E! News has confirmed. The Hasselhoffs followed him as he guided daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann as they try to break out of their dad's shadow and make it in Hollywood. Why did the show get canned? We're guessing that unless he's eating a hamburger off the floor, no one's interested in watching the real-life antics of the Hoff—The Hasselhoffs ratings were lower than low. "That's show business," Hasselhoff lamented. The 10.p.m. show drew just 718,000 viewers for its premiere episode on Nov. 28, while last...

Poor David Hasselhoff. He was the first contestant voted off of this season's "Dancing With the Stars," and now his new reality show "The Hasselhoffs" is getting pulled after just two episodes. That stands as the fastest celeb reality show cancellation in recent memory. A&E stopped short of saying the show was cancelled, but after it premiered Sunday to 718,000 viewers, the series appeared short for this world. Rumors of impending cancellation gained further steam after the audience shrank for the second episode to 505,000 viewers. Its lead-in "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" attracted 1.4 million viewers. This is depressing: David Hasselhoff’s reality show has been pulled from the A&E schedule after the first two episodes received poor ratings. The second episode only had about a half million viewers—we’re willing to bet that more people have seen Hasselhoff’s drunk cheeseburger video, sadly. Guess those pics of Hoff standing next to Kitt as Captain Hook came too late to save it. The show, simply titled The Hasselhoffs, featured the actor and his two daughters Hayley and Taylor-Ann as David struggles to balance work, single-fatherhood, and his daughters’ quest for fame as they start their own group called Bella Vida. Maybe the Hoff needs a lesson from Kris Kardashian in how to maintain the balance between reality stardom and being a mom-ager—she is clearly doing something right. There are still eight episodes that have yet to air, we can only hope that A...

Hoff-ful news, Hasselhoff fans: A&E has pulled the Hoff's new reality show, 'The Hasselhoffs,' (h)off the air after just one night and two episodes, Vulture reports.
The reality show, about David Hasselhoff and his daughters Hayley and Taylor, performed disappointingly for the network when it debuted on Sunday night. Just 718,000 viewers tuned in for its first half-hour episode and 505,000 for the one that immediately followed.
A&E did not use the word "canceled" in its announcement, although according to Vulture, the network has not yet decided the fate of the show's remaining eight episodes.

David Hasselhoff has got his own reality show "The Hasselhoffs" pulled off its schedule. New York Magazine's Vulture has first brought out the report informing that following the second airing of the show, the "Knight Rider" star's show has been officially made off the air by its TV network A&E due to the fact that it gets poor ratings in the premiere.
The site explained that there were only 718,000 people watching the first episode while the second got 505,000. Meanwhile, the fate of the remaining eight episodes of the series, which tells story about the 58-year-old actor and his two daughters, Hayley Hasselhoff and Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, remains unclear.

The programme centres around the former Baywatch star and his two actress daughters, 17-year-old Hayley and 20-year-old Taylor Ann, as he helps them pursue careers in the entertainment industry.
The first episode aired in America on Sunday to lacklustre viewing figures, and numbers dropped by 50 per cent for the second installment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
And now TV chiefs have pulled the show off air, with eight half-hour episodes left unwatched.

Viewers just lost interest in "The Hasselhoffs" and A&E is not waiting until the rating sinks. The docu-reality series, which follows David Hasselhoff's attempt to help his daughters in the entertainment world, is off the network's schedule after airing only 2 episodes.
The debut episode drew a mild 718,000 viewers and the second at the next hour plunged to 505,000. For comparison, A&E recently also premiered a new series called "Storage Wars" which actually has less star factor than "The Hasselhoffs" because it's about professional buyers purchasing storage units that have been foreclosed on. "Storage Wars" drew 2 million in its debut.
The premiere saw the Hoff playing golf with his friends, reminiscing about "Knight Rider" with his dad Joe and performing songs on an open top bus in San Diego. There was also him getting a hot dog named after him, him walking off the set of a commercial, and...

Hoff he goes: After airing just two episodes, A&E pulled David Hasselhoff’s new reality series, The Hasselhoffs, from its schedule, the network confirmed to EW. (The news was first reported by Vulture.) The show — which offered a behind-the-scenes peek into the lives of the former Knight Rider star/America’s Got Talent judge and his two daughters — debuted with Dec. 6 with a pair of episodes; the first drew 718,000 viewers while the second attracted only 505,000 people. A&E did not go so far as to make a terrible pun and say that the series has been hofficially cancelled, however.

Contrary to what the "Baywatch" theme song would have you believe, David Hasselhoff will not be there. A&E removed his freshman reality series, "The Hasselhoffs," from its schedule after just two episodes.

"The Hasselhoffs," a fly-on-the-wall look at Hasselhoff, his two daughters and their dog, aired two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, Dec. 5. The first half-hour episode averaged 718,000 viewers, with the second only managing to bring in 505,000 viewers. Ouch.

Last night the new reality show, The Hasselhoffs, premiered on A&E. After the perfect awfulness that was the A&E show, Teach: Tony Danza, I thought perhaps The Hasselhoffs would also be worthy of recaps. I was wrong. This show is terrible on a whole other level that is not even fun to mock. What follows here is not a recap. It is a summary of the first episode that will serve as an explanation of why this show will absolutely Not be recapped. Get your suicide machines ready. The episode begins with what turns about to be the first in a long series of instances involving David Hasselhoff and his two daughters, Taylor and Hayley yelling and talking over each other. Oh yeah, I should explain. David Hasselhoff has two daughters named Taylor and Hayley. Isn’t that nice how I explained that clearly? Guess where that wasn’t explained clearly?...

There’s no script for being a dad, an older, wiser David Hasselhoff explained on last night’s premiere of his new A&E series The Hasselhoffs. That might be true, but there is clearly a script for this so-called reality show, where the painfully cheesy voiceover distracts from important things like caffeine addiction, animal psychology, and The Hoff’s multitude of eponymous tees, including “Drop It Like It’s Hoff.” (Actually, that was pretty hard to miss.)
Call him what you will — he’s partial to Knight Rider or “The German Elvis” — but deep down The Hoff is just...

David Hasselhoff is one of those celebrities who not only refuses to go away, but age in any capacity. I can barely tell the difference between The Hoff of 2010 and The Hoff of 1990, in both looks and general disposition. This is a good thing. The most enjoyable element of A&E's new "reality" series The Hasselhoffs is the patriarch himself. He is kind, wise, playful, giving, goofy and clearly ripe for a true-blue comeback. How hilarious would it have been if The Hoff, not The Rock, starred in the revenge actioner Faster? But I digress.

Are you ready to get your Hoff on?
"The Hasselhoffs" premieres two back-to-back episodes on A&E Sunday, Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. Et. the show follows former "Knight Rider," "Baywatch" and drunken burger-eating video star David Hasselhoff raise his two daughters Hayley and Taylor Ann, who have musical career aspirations of their own.
In the premiere "Hoff the Record," the siblings set out to start a band, Bella Vida, together, but Hayley lands a role on ABC Family's "Huge," which kind of messes up plans. In the second episode "Addiction," Hasselhoff gets caught cheating in a caffeine abstinence contest. Also, a dog psychic is hired to figure out why Taylor's dog is addicted to tennis balls.
Take a look at the family visiting the ladies on "The View" and a glimpse at the awesome promotional calendar of all things Hoff. We've also included some photos for your enjoyment.

David Hasselhoff has the tenacity of Kudzu, viral Ebola and a cockroach: He cannot be exterminated from pop culture, no matter how many inebriated videos pop up that "pants" the affable crooner. Now his daughters are making a splash acting too, but is there hope for Der Hoff? If shriveled up Heidi Fleiss can score a TV deal for a new reality show, we say "Ja." This time the backdrop is not the beach, or the inside of a talking car. This time he is playing the role of Mr. Mom raising and helping to guide the careers of his two entertainment driven daughters. The A&E original real life series "The Hasselhoffs" spotlights the life of...

Even three years after the fact, David Hasselhoff still can't escape the now-infamous "hamburger incident."
In the premiere episode of 'The Hasselhoffs,' the appropriately titled reality show he filmed with his two daughters that debuts on A&E this Sunday, the Hoff wasted no time in addressing his very personal troubles -- to a room full of college students, no less.
In TV Squad's exclusive clip, watch the Hoff speak to students in daughter Taylor's psychology class at the University of Arizona. He gets very candid about his alcoholism and his sadness at the private tape leaking to the tabloids.
Not enough Hoff for you? We'll have an interview with all the Hasselhoffs -- David, Taylor and Hayley -- in a few days.
'The Hasselhoffs' premiere airs Sun., Dec. 5 at 10Pm.

David Hasselhoff found it hard bringing his daughters into the public eye. The former "Baywatch" actor stars in new reality TV show "The Hasselhoffs" with 20-year-old student Taylor Ann and 18-year-old actress Hayley Hasselhoff, his kids with ex-wife Pamela Bach, and admits he was wary about seeing them in the spotlight because of the unwanted attention it can bring.
"Bringing them into a business that is sometimes brutally unfair and sometimes breaks your heart was hard," David said. "Most of the time, it's fantastic, when you're on stage performing, and the girls know this because they've been on stage and been performing, but it's fantastic. It's just the other stuff that goes with it."
However, the 58-year-old star is grateful that their new show will allow his family to present themselves and their opinions in their own way. He told "Fox & Friends", "Instead of running from the cameras and having them say what they want,...

Ever wonder what goes on in the Hasselhoff household?
In A&E's new reality series, The Hasselhoffs, viewers get to see "The Hoff" as "The Dad" — to daughters Hayley, 18, and Taylor Ann, 20. And since acorns don't fall far from the tree, David Hasselhoff's kids want to make it big in the entertainment biz.
Of course, drama ensues.
With a show promo that features a "baby Hoff" running on the beach — chest hair and all — a la Baywatch, it's apparent that Hasselhoff is still willing to poke fun of himself, be it his career or his personal struggles ...

David Hasselhoff and daughters Hayley, 18, and Taylor-Ann 20, are letting it all out as cameras roll for their new A&E reality show, "The Hasselhoffs" -- and they're telling "Extra's" Aj Calloway what audiences can expect from the filial realness.

It's that time of year again, and while many of your favorite shows are headed into holiday hiatuses, there's still plenty of good television to catch as winter settles in. 'Robot Chicken' offers up its third 'Star Wars' send-up, while 'The Hasselhoffs' takes us perhaps closer than any of us want into the life of David Hasselhoff and his family (Please no more cheeseburgers).
On top of the usual suspects of holiday specials, this year we're treated to holiday-themed sci-fi specials for 'Eureka,' 'Warehouse 13' and 'Doctor Who.' Gordon Ramsay has two holiday specials, the season finale of 'Hell's Kitchen' and the premiere of yet another new series, 'Ramsay's Best Restaurant' this month, in case you were concerned he wouldn't continue to be all over television.

So, we weren't too excited about A&E's upcoming series "The Hasselhoffs." Another celeb-reality series, we thought, starring a guy about whom we know pretty much there is everything to know. And then we received the show's promo package in the mail Friday (Nov. 19).
We're still not sure about the series, but if it's half as good as the marketing material, we're in.
A&E sent us a 13-month "Hasselhoffs" calendar that's perhaps the funniest wall calendar in history. The January picture (above) glows in the dark, two months have scratch-n-sniff panels, and November -- the month in which the Berlin Wall fell -- has a picture of David Hasselhoff singing to the crowds at the wall and is captioned "You're Welcome Germany!"
(July 17, the Hoff's birthday, is hereafter to be referred to as the "National Day of Awesome.")
A few more of the images are below. Here's May (you...

A&E has released a strange commercial to promote their upcoming reality TV show called The Hasselhoffs. The series takes viewers inside the Hasselhoff household and follows "The Hoff" as he juggles his business and entertainment life with being a single parent of two teenage daughters.
Not surprisingly, for a commericial the producers have opted to do a take-off of the classic Baywatch opening in which hunky David Hasselhoff ran across a beach in his lifeguard swimsuit, with his hairy chest exposed.
They took it into a new direction however and more than a few people think that it's a little creepy.
The Hasselhoffs premieres on December 5th on A&E.
What do you think? Effective marketing or just plain strange? Does the show interest you?...

A&E's appropriately-titled Hasselhoff docu-series, "The Hasselhoffs," kicks off Dec 5. And instead of showcasing the anticipated Osbournes-style antics we're expecting from the series, the first promo has a hairy-chested baby David Hasselhoff running down the beach.
Yes, it's one of the more original "Baywatch" parodies you're likely to ever find -- but the sight of curly hairs super-glued to a cherubic toddler's torso is sort of... revolting.
Equally disconcerting are the blurred lines from when the running baby is real and when he's CGI. (At least part of this is fake, right? Our naive eyes have a difficult time discerning most altered images and breast implants.)
Then again, this is sort of the appeal of the family Hoff, repellent but ultimately entertaining.

Host Tom Bergeron wasn’t kidding when he teased how the first elimination on this season’s Dancing with the Stars would be a shocker. For more about the celebrity who got the boot on Tuesday’s episode – and how it caught the producers by surprise – go to the jump.

Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey aside, David Hasselhoff might be "Dancing with the Stars'" biggest surprise for Season 11. And for good reason. He was was a last minute substitute -- though he's not saying for whom.
Zap2it caught up with the "Knight Rider" star, recent roast-ee and German national treasure at the August 30 "Dwts" cast reveal event where he shared apprehensions about joining the show and explained why now is the perfect time to take the plunge.
"After I got the call, I told my daughters, 'It looks like somebody fell out and they want me to do the show,'" says Hasselhoff, who, with a tour, reality series ("The Hasselhoffs"), and film ("Dancing Ninja") on deck, wanted to decline.
"This stuff is painful. I've done Broadway, I've done the West End with 40 of the top dancers in the world behind me and I was in such pain.
