Jill & Thomas leave first and mention hoping the streak of no female-female teams winnign Amazing Race continues. Brook & Claire leave next and talk about much they want to beat Thomas. Nat & Kat met in L.A. at UCLA and hope the connection will prove fortuitous.
All three teams take the same flight to L.A.
They land and grab taxis. Nat & Kat are first to the clue. Teams must take a lift to the top of one of the massive port cranes, get a clue and bungee 150 feet off the top. Once they get back to dry land they can open the clue. Nat & Kat gets fitted for the jump.
Jill & Thomas and Brook & Claire arrive at the port a few moments later.
With Kat already strapped in for the jump, a terrified Nat (who is scared of heights) appears to freeze briefly. Eventually they jump without incident. They are lowered onto a raft and head for the peer.

Nat & Kat open the next clue first: Teams are taking a helicopter to a surprise destination.
Brook & Claire make their jump.
Nat & Kat get into their helicopter. Jill & Thomas are behind, but were aren't shown exactly by how much. Brook & Claire get into their copter and it seems all three are en route at the same time.
Nat & Kat land outside the Rose Bowl. The box has three clues marked 'A,' 'B' and 'C.' Nat & Kat take 'A.' It is this week's Roadblock: Teams must decorate three sections of a Rose Bowl parade float. Nat is chosen to work on a float.
Jill & Thomas land and take the 'B.' They pick Thomas to perform the challenge. They were hoping it would be a strength challenge and it sounds like Jill would have been the better choice.
Brook & Claire land and pick Brook to perform the challenge.
Nat is first to finish but is told she didn't "prep" her roses properly. She most go back and re-do a major section. She finishes it properly and Nat & Kat get the next clue: Teams are given three hints related to "Sancho Panza's master," the Symphony in the Glenn and Year of the Itch. They must figure it out and head to the location.
While Thomas and Brook work on their float, Nat & Kat's search for a cab driver who knows the answer to the clues.
Jill finishes the Roadblock.
Nat & Kat get in a cab and decide to call an information line. Jill & Thomas ask their cabbie if he can call a friend who might be online.
Brook finishes her float challenge.
Nat & Kat learn that the a place called Don Quixote Studios is a possibility, while Jill & Thomas' English-challenged cab driver has never heard of the internet.
Brook & Claire get into a cab and asked to be taken to the internet.
Jill & Thomas' driver won't let them us his phone. Brook & Claire find an internet connection.
Nat & Kat find the correct location at Don Quixote Studios and read about the next challenge: Teams will view a screen with 48 different faces, 11 of which were the Pit Stop greeters for each leg's Pit Stop. They must correctly pick the 11 and place them in order to get the next clue. Nat & Kat begin, seeming to make one error among their first five or six guesses.
Brook & Claire spend a few moments online and figure out the No. 7 stage at Don Quixote Studios is where they need to be.
Jill & Thomas finally escape their cab and pop into a random business looking for internet help.
Nat & Kat use notes they've been taking and correct one of their early errors.
Jill & Thomas appear to be completely lost as they search for online help.
Nat & Kat are getting close to end.
Brook & Claire are on their way and don't seem to have a sense of what place they might be in.
Still the only ones working on the quiz challenge, Nat & Kat are down to their final few legs. They finally get them all correct and are given the leg's final clue: Head by cab through midday L.A. traffic to the Finish Line at Greystone Mansion.
Brook & Claire get to the studio and start the quiz challenge. They also seem to have notes.
Based on editing Nat & Kat seem to be stuck in traffic while Brook & Claire speed through the legs. Brook & Claire finish the quiz and head to the mansion. We now are seeing both Nat & Kat and Brook & Claire in cabs at the same time.
Thomas makes a comment about returning the U.S. and facing a larger language barrier than they had overseas.
We again see Nat & Kat say how nervous they are about being in traffic. This is cut with Brook & Clair begging their driver to go faster.
Nat & Kat run past all the other contestants from the season and get to Phil in first place. They are congratulated on winning the race and being the fist all-female team ever to win. They talk about their relationship together and Nat makes a few comments about living with diabetes.
Brook & Claire arrive at Phil in second-place. They talk about what it means to be a strong woman.
Jill & Thomas arrive in third.
