- TriviaThe episode parodies "clip shows" which used to appear occasionally on older shows. To save money, the episode would consist mainly of reused footage from earlier episodes amid a small amount of new footage used as a framing device. In this episode, the joke is that all of the "clips" consist of completely new scenes which were filmed especially for the episode, thus undermining the money saving purpose of a clip show.
- GoofsThe amount of vasaline Chang is covered in changes between scenes.
- Quotes
[Abed sneaks through the cafeteria dressed as "The Cape", uses his cape to drag Jeff's dinner onto the floor, and runs away]
Jeff Winger: The show's gonna last three weeks!
Abed Nadir: Six seasons and a movie!

It feels wrong to call this a 10/10 episode, at least when in comparison to the likes of remedial chaos theory, messianic myths and ancient people, and modern warfare, all of which are great in every aspect, the best writing in communities history.
However when deciding what you like as a person we draw the lines not at grouped recognition of somethings perfection, but personal joy and love of it. I can acknowledge that there are better episodes of community, but whenever I watch paradigms of human memory I get a childish joy a "giddiness" the comedy is in my personal opinion the best in the series. Most people spend their lives trying to find happiness, including myself. When I watch this episode, for less than 25 minutes I get to feel like I've found that happiness we spend eternity searching for, I forget everything else surrounding me and get encased in beautiful heartwarming tales to see a grown man giggle is a rare sight, but to see a grown man admit that something so great makes him giggle is something I think we could use a little more of.
