- Liz tries to blackmail Jack on behalf of TGS after they discover that they're married because of a license error, but Jack has a dirty trick of his own. Meanwhile Jenna and Danny fight after they are forced to share a dressing room.

- Open with Jack giving Jonathan the run-down on his quickie marriage to Avery down in the Caribbean. The officiant was a French admiral who didn't speak English. His first-choice best man couldn't make it so Liz stood in. A letter has arrived from the city where he was married and both of them gasp when the read it.
Tracy tells Liz he needs to take an insurance physical in order to host an adult films awards show. Pete shows her that ahead of the merger Jack is trying to show Kabletown how profitable the company can be. Jenna's dressing room has been converted to an IT office, bat mitzvahs are being held in the studio, etc. Liz complains about the ceremony and we see that she wore a mosquito net over her head and, unlike Avery, was wearing white. Jonathan calls her for a meeting with Jack.
Jack shows her that Liz, who did not understand the admiral, accidentally signed on the line which read "wife" rather than "witness." Avery is in China on work and he wants this taken care of before she returns to the country.
Dr. Spaceman tells Tracy he is in terrible shape and could die soon. Tracy isn't going to change his lifestyle and it appears he is concerned about finances.
Jenna moves into Danny's dressing room. Kenneth makes a crack about them not bickering like old married folks which is exactly what they start doing.
Jeffrey the HR guy explains some of the merger changes. One of them is "few health care options." Pete wants Liz to talk Jack into making some changes. When she tells the room about the accidental marriage, Jeffrey says they will both have to see him about nepotism issues. Pete thinks Liz should use the leverage of signing the divorce papers to force Jack into helping them.
Jack explains to Liz that TGS has no importance with NBC. She counters that if he doesn't make the show a priority she won't sign the papers. They are going to "do this the hard way."
Danny and Jenna continue to fight like cats and dogs and Kenneth goes to Pete for relationship advice. He tells them the key is finding a buffer, like his children. "We can't fight around the kids."
Tracy and Angie meet with Jack. In the event Tracy dies, Angie wants to be able to earn as much he does now. Since the only way that is possible is in entertainment, Jack suggests finding a way for her to learn the business. She says she won't take orders from anyone and Jack smiles.
Liz finds out Angie has become her new intern. Angie seems offended that Liz thinks she was hired just to mess with her. Liz tells Angie (who is already making demands related to vacation) that she won't really like being an intern and essentially fires her.
Kenneth attempts to be a buffer between Jenna and Danny, essentially becoming the child they fight over. He falls while trying to hang a picture and things get worse.
Angie interrupts a discussion between Liz and Jack, saying she is nobody's pawn. Jack tells her that she's a star and thinks she have her own reality show on Friday nights. Of course he picks TGS's timeslot, offering to move it in exchange for Liz's signature. Liz doesn't think he'd actually give her a show and calls his bluff.
Now Liz asks Pete for marriage-based advice on how to deal with Jack. He suggests finding a weak spot and exploiting it: "That's what marriage is."
Jenna and Danny tell Kenneth that Danny will be moving out. They can't say together and tell him he shouldn't think this means they love him less: "Know that it means that," Danny says.
Jonathan calls Jack at home to alert him to the fact Liz is conducting a press conference. Affecting a very Kennedy-like Massachusetts accent, Liz is announcing she and her husband will be making a very large donation to form a new high school for the arts. Jack is furious.
Jack and Liz meet with Jeffrey. His job is to make sure no favoritism is taking place and they proceed to outline their current tactics to beat one another. He walks through the standard HR questions related to workplace relationships and this forces them to recall the good things about their friendship. They quickly apologize to each other and make concessions.
