It's developing nicely.

Dean takes notice of his wife's fears, and promptly moves them into a hotel, he also hires a private Detective to get some answers.

I enjoyed the first episode, it introduced the characters, set the scene, and gave us a glimpse of the horror to come.

Not a huge deal of horror, but it does spin some pretty bleak ideas, you wonder if they happened, or if there was something else happening behind the scenes.

I loved the introduction of The Private Detective, she was such an intriguing individual, I can't work out if she's sincere, or has been deliberately placed there. Noma Dumezweni was brilliant I thought, super charisma brought to the front.

An interesting second episode. 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
If you had any hopes about this show getting less absurd as things went on you would be disappointed here. The show got even crazier here and I am definitely excited for that direction.

Seth Gabel has played a lot of crazy characters on TV recently and this one was not any different. The entire exchange at the diner with his Andrew character and Dean was compelling television.

I am glad that this series is only 7 episodes as I do not know how much material they can extract from this, but I am excited about the road that they have paved out so far. Another enjoyable episode of a show that doesn't take itself too seriously.

There is no way this story is even close to being true

This whole show is ridiculously over done. The sorry the characters. The only people who are normal are the people who live on the house. The realtor is also a piece of work. She is a horrible person and I hate her character! If you wanted a movie that your viewers hate the story, the characters and almost everyone in the series, you have done a great job! The only reason I am watching this garbage is because my wife made me watch it with her. His wife is a dumb character who is so nieve and that daughter is a bratty kid. Why is there a bratty teen and a story about statutory rape happening, yes this is ! She is 15 and she is with a 19 year old!!! These aren't adults and this story line is pervy!!

The underage magazine model daughter throws herself at a 19 year old security guy as if he were a rock star and she his biggest fan... Come on already, Ryan Murphy, enough of your sexual fantasies in reverse, let's play with some reality here... It ain't that easy for ordinary people...

Meanwhile, the actor who plays the former neighbor at the diner was interesting but his story went on way too long, and it was a waste of time being that his story isn't the one being told...

This is more a straight-out mystery than horror with the letter-writing Watcher seeming like it could be any of the neighbors, all so quirky and neurotic and borderline insane, why would this family want to live at this house even if there WEREN'T letters?

Stretched too thin, this one.
