- Blood and gore are everywhere when you shoot hordes of zombies using machine guns, pistols, and shotguns.

- Shooting zombies in different locations does different things.
- A shot to the head is over the top, exploding the zombie skull and its contents in many directions.
- Zombies can have their heads blown off, their arms shot away, their legs destroyed (reducing them to crawling) and, by picking up a certain powerup, this can occur in slow-motion too.
- During one level, zombies can be seen feeding a human into a meat-grinder.
- After being slashed a number of times by zombies, a narrator mockingly says, "You are dead."
- If a zombie attacks the player, blood splashes over the screen and sometimes a bit of gore too.
- If a player kills a certain type of zombie in a certain way, they'll slap its face and gore will fly at the screen.
- Environments explored are all extremely bloody and gory.
- During one boss-battle, the enemy will fire multiple projectiles at the player including a dismembered arm, a head complete with part of the spine, and more bloody objects.
- Despite the extreme nature of the violence, it occurs in a highly comical and unrealistic context which should significantly lessen its impact.
