'Hollyoaks' star Emmett J. Scanlan has been longlisted in the category of Best Serial Drama Performance. Other Irish contenders for the National Television Awards include Ciarán Hinds (Above Suspicion), UK/Irish actor Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey), Colin Morgan (Merlin), James Nesbitt (Monroe) and Stephen Rea (The Shadow Line) all in the category of Best Drama Performance: Male.
