Cash is a comedy drama film directed by rishab seth. Here are the positives and negatives:-

Performances-amol parashar is one actor we always look forward to. But but, in this film i found him a little odd. Sometimes going over the top as well. Smriti kalra too was decent nothing exceptional but she was damn hot. Kavin dave did a pretty good job. The supporting cast was bad to okayish.

Background score and music-the background score is okay. But the music is pretty average except tera hua sung by arijit singh. That song was melodious with some exceptional lyrics as well.

Writing-the writing was smart and very good. Its one of the great qualities of this film. It never makes you feel detached and disconnected.

Comedy and satire-this is the strongest quality. There is no slapstick comedy but only situational and subtle comedy. And i must say the actors have pretty good comic timing. The satire portion was pretty good as well. The concept itself is satirical. Demonetisation is implemented and the characters are tricking others.

Characters-the characters are hilarious. A character who enjoys pain and his dialogues are fun to watch. This character will surely make you laugh out loud. The other characters are also humorously written.

This film did not create much hype but is one hilarious and interesting watch. You should watch this. I rate it 8 out of 10.

A simple entertainment film with a fresh story-line.

Small budget movies must be supported because they often end up doing what big budget films don't find the courage to do. If you are looking for a simple entertainment film with a fresh story-line, then 'Cash' is the film for you. 'Cash' doesn't have established actors or stars, but it does have a new story, a good one at that, fast paced screenplay, good music and is quite entertaining to watch.

THE GOOD THINGS :

1. The actors in the film are not the ones we are used to watching in movies, but they have done a pretty decent job. Swanand Kirkire is a wonderful lyricist, but I had no idea that he could also act, quite well actually. Kavin Dave offers great support with his comic timing, a truly underrated acting talent of our film industry. Krishna Singh Bisht plays the crazy Qazi, a bizarre character who derives pleasure from pain. As a character he adds a lot of humour to the film, until his act gets repetitive. Smiriti Kalra plays the very typical lead actress who is made to look glamorous and sexy in every single frame. Smiriti plays the hot and cunning Neha, and her confident portrayal of the character is truly praiseworthy. Gulshan Grover does what he has always done, it seems as if he was born to play a villain. Amol Parashar is quite believable as the wannabe entrepreneur, who puts up a confident face even though he has no idea what his next step would be.

2. The humour of the film is sarcastic and satirical and often dark, which is rare in Hindi cinema. The story revolves around the 2016 Demonetization, and often ends up doing social commentary, which is truly admirable because not a lot of producers would gather the courage to attempt something similar.

3. In a movie like this, which is pretty much an adventure ride, you don't really want songs as they end up blocking the flow of the film. Also, since this is a small film, one would expect some average quality songs or remixes, but that's not the case with this film. The music of this film is surprisingly good. The songs 'Tera Hua' and 'Me & U' are extremely catchy and sound really good to your ears. There are just four songs in the film and they don't take up a lot of time, but importantly none of them qualify to be called bad. Also, no remixes, just like the story, the music is also original. Something to learn for the big producers of our film industry.

4. The story is original. The writers have created a story around the 2016 Demonetization, and unlike the sycophants that our society is filled with, they are talking about it in a very practical way. Today rich producers are scared of taking risks and are happy to remake a successful film, and one of them even famously said that there aren't a lot of good stories around, but a relatively unknown creative team has managed to produce a completely fresh film, and for that they have my respect.

Full of entertainment, comedy & thrill. Loved the plot & cast. Acting by Amol Parashar (Hero), Smiriti Kalra (Heroin) & Kavin Dave is FAB. My fav character is Qazi. Guys, go ..watch this light comedy but full of entertainment movie.

C grade Bollywood movie

C grade acting skills and absolutely meaning less storyline. Anti hindu content as well at some places. Better don't waist your time in this movie. Bollywood is so finished. I hope I would have seen this movie.

Funny Movie

After Suitcase movie I have found this movie funny in bollywood and it will never make you boar until the end. Sunil Grover , Amol Parasher , Kavin Dave's acting was awesome. Kazi's character was funny. I am giving it 9 star just because of some creative ideas mentioned in movie and for the fun part.

The movie is about how 3 young persons trap people and get trapped about cash during demonisation

The plot was good but the execution was very poor ..some scenes were unnecessary..it was hilarious..some good acting direction was required..but above all it was average and was a good attempt

They have shown some hard facts of demonisation.

Stopped movie after 15 mins

Starting was little fun, but it went too predictable going forward. Dialogues were shallow and so was acting.. For the first time IMDB ratings (7.4) were misleading , actually had to stop movie and rate it ! Please skip this if you are looking to watch a movie with full entertainment. If you looking for Time Pass watch Youtube movies, they have better storyline that this.

Revisit & Relive the most gloomiest Era of Nov'16, in the most Humorous way in Nov'21 #Cash brings those sad hard hitting days into the most funniest way in front of you... all the stupid things you must've done this film brings all those moments and it makes you laugh, laugh on you and on the person who's responsible for all of it.

It's better to be seen with your family, they'll see themselves in the film... haha.

Was smiling throughout the film! It's a funny intelligent script which keeps you engaged all through... the cast is terrific!!! Some really funny moments in the film that I kept going back to. The director has done a superb job with the film and his actors...

Funny movie

This is a very funny movie. Right from the beginning the movie gathers it's pace. Lot of new actors and all have put their best foot forward. Direction is great, the screenplay is damn good. There is constantly something or the other happening which keeps you hooked to the movie. Lot of funny one-liners and situational comedy. Sometimes small movies provide more entertainment than a A-lister Bollywood movie.

Definitely worth a watch.

Good comedy movie in current times

This comedy movie is very good especially considering the current landscape of cinema. Every actor showcases great comedic timing and delivers stellar performances. The film revolves around the theme of demonetization of 1000 and 500 rupee notes, injecting humor into a topic that could otherwise be dreary. With an abundance of side-splitting comedy scenes, it effortlessly keeps the audience entertained and laughing throughout. I'm awarding it a high rating because it undoubtedly deserves an IMDb rating of more than 7 stars. Overall, it's a refreshing and entertaining take on a pertinent societal issue, executed with finesse and humor.

Light hearted comedy movie

I enjoyed this movie from start to end. Well executed, well acted and well directed. They have given comedy flavor to demonization and they got success in that. This movie has some funny characters. Go for it.

Watched it with my mom and we laughed so hard and then again made my dad see it. He laughed so hard. This movie gets serious and then qaazi comes and makes us laugh. Songs was good. Everything is so good about this movie. Perfect watch. When qaazi opened his arms to allow that card to crash on him was so funny. :D and all actor and actress performance was very good. I was lost in stories.
