Billy learns some of life's harsh realities the hard way due to his idealistic naïveté. His reputation as an outlaw spreads, though this is disappointingly presented as largely happenstance, denuding him of agency. He meets friends both new and old, including the introduction of Barbara Jones delicately portrayed by Christie Burke and an excellent turn from Michael Adamthwaite as Alias.
The cinematography is again superb with many beautiful shots, two striking examples are the overhead shot of the fatigued Billy in the opening, the walk through the birch trees.
A solid episode with Billy continuing his descent into criminality.
