"Let´s get merried" is an alternative Christmas movie that will make you laugh. The storyline is straightforward and very predictable. However this makes this movie very watchable and amusing. I was impressed by the acting of Nicole Power (Zoe) and most of her "crew". She should be casted more often as she gives us a very solid performance. The dialogues are well written and executed. And with a run-time of only 87 minutes, this movie is too short to get boring. Watch, relax and enjoy.

Let's Get Merried (2021) -
I think I turned this off last year? But I couldn't say for sure, so I gave it a try this year and soon realised that it wasn't my thing at all. In fairness, I might come back to it again in the future when I'm in a different mood and give it more of a go, but I felt that I could see how things were going to go down and it didn't look like a story that I was that bothered about. I saw no urgent need to find out if the lead found redemption or fell in love and I didn't need to see any journey that might have got her there.
It was a far more adult film than the usual made for TV Christmas genre, which I wouldn't have minded if I'd believed that the story wasn't just going to be the same old thing, but without the heart of the Hallmark type efforts.
Mishel Prada, whom I assumed was the lead character, because I didn't get very far, played Zoe and she was, quite frankly, a miserable cow that wanted to bring everyone down to her level.
Personally I thought that she should have stuck with the Sexy Santa (Nicky Marks) that she met working in a grotto of a shop, but I may have been swayed by his being shown in just some wrapping paper.
I couldn't get through it, I might try again, but I won't hasten to do so.
Unscored as unfinished.
