- Liz proposes a TGS episode to be done on location in Miami in the dead of winter to boost morale, but Jack changes the locale to Boston so that he can be close to Nancy, whom he learns is about to get a divorce.
- When Liz Lemon decides to take the TGS show on the road to cure a case of the winter blues for the staff, the anticipated trip doesn't exactly go as planned. Jack Donaghy chooses the destination and travels with the show for his own interest, and while away from New York, the TGS crew blames Liz for all of their misfortunes.—NBC Publicity
- Open with Liz grouchy about how much she dislikes January. She's been stuck inside playing online Boggle. Jack has started a text/email relationship with Nancy, but they haven't discussed her potential divorce. The entire cast is on edge after a long season.
Nancy tells Jack via online conversation that she's coming to New York in a few months. Unfortunately it's the same weekend as Jack's business school reunion in Boston.
Pete suggests to Liz they take the show to Miami for a week to break up the monotony.
Jack likes the idea, but switches the location to Boston.
The cast isn't happy when they hear about going to yet another cold weather city. To save money they will be sharing rooms and taking a bus. Toofer and Frank end up rooming together, as do Dot Com and Grizz. Jenna is upset that Cerie is going to room with Sue.
Tracy tells Liz that he always gets in trouble when he goes on the road.
30 Rock ends up sharing the offices of Bruins Beat, and those guys won't stop messing with Kenneth.
Liz tells Jack she's worried the show won't come together. Jack suggests she find a common enemy for the group. Liz says she's tired of it always being here. Nancy comes into Jack's office, excited that he's in town.
Jack and Nancy take a tour of the Boston office and seem to be getting on like old friends. Nancy breaks down crying and tells Jack her husband left. She thinks he wants her to be the first one to ask for a divorce. Nancy and her husband haven't discussed the issue openly. Nancy's house is on the market and she asks Jack if he can come over and help with some maintenance before an open house.
Tracy agrees to join Liz on a historic walking tour of Boston because he thinks it's a way for him to stay out of trouble. Cut to Tracy yelling at the man playing John Hancock about the forefathers owning slaves.
While helping Nancy, Jack learns that selling the house is critical for her to get the divorce proceedings started.
With the cast getting angrier and angrier, Liz blames everything that's been happening -- cold weather, long hours, etc. -- on an executive named Dale Snitterman. She tells them Snitterman is responsible for every NBC decision that bothered them and gets the group united to put on a great show.
Liz tells Jack how proud she is of herself for making up a fake executive on which to blame everything. Jack says he's going to secretly buy Nancy's house from her and needs a few of Liz' people to pose as home buyers. When she tells Jack the name of her fake executive he shows her the nameplate on one of the doors in the Boston office says "Dale Snitterman." Liz saw the name earlier, forgot and used it without realizing it was a real person.
Tracy returns to the historic walking tour and begins yelling at John Hancock at how much the Patriots "sucked." A group of New England Patriots fans nearby hear this and it looks as if Tracy is about to get beat up. "This is all Snitterman's fault," he says.
Kenneth and Cerie pose as a couple looking to buy the house: Silas Marymount Peppercorn and his wife Moronica.
Frank tells everyone he's seen that Snitterman is in Boston. They all go into the his office and begin screaming at the stunned man.
Nancy tells Jack that she got an offer on her house that day but admits to being scared about getting divorced and starting a new life. He tells her he has feelings for her and she lets him say four words. "I'll wait. Not forever," Jack says. She responds: "I'll try. Wicked-hard." And they kiss.
