"Everything's gonna be alright"

A wonderful establishing episode in which Jessica Biel portrays the multifaceted and complex Candy extraordinarily well.

The scene is set, the deed is done and the tension rises - let the games begin!

Intriguing, solid start of a mystery thriller mini series

Produced by Jessica Biel, she is in the role of Candy Montgomery and makes an impression like going for an Emmy nomination.

Based on true events, I don't know anything about the events and this murder case, but: The production values and the set design are great and capture the 80s, that somehow look more like the 70s.

Pablo Schreiber is fantastic, real intense and authentic acting by him. I'm hooked.

Jessica Biel is curageous and transformed into Candy Montgomery. If you liked her in the first season of The Sinner, then she'll surprise you by her mesmerizing performance in this tv mini series.

The mystery thriller is a slow burner, creates an unease and leaves you with enough questions that the upcoming episodes might answer.

Although it's rather formulaic, it's still a well made start for this thriller mini series.

Recommended.

What the hec was supposed to be so suspenseful? To easy to predict and long drawn out phone ringing, baby crying and sighs. The acting was fine but the pace is agonizing. The acting was fine but no acting could improve this pace.
