Grab the tissues, this is a good one.

This one is great. The actress who plays Anya did a beautiful job and I loved it.

The story telling is great and will have you laughing one minute, crying the next. It's powerful and meaningful. You don't really know what's coming until the end. And the end blew my mind. The way this episode was written just pulls you to the story and makes you feel like you're actually there.

Anya's a great character who's a real hardass, and this episode shows the true love and pain she feels deep down. The life she's lived has been difficult and you're there with her during this episode.

There's some real "Jacob's Ladder" elements going on here. I loved how they did this. I was actually in tears at end.

Best episode

This is one of the best episodes. A lot of loneliness, love, sadness, desperation and then acceptanten. We get a deeper look into Anya as a character and learn how deep all her wounds are and why she keeps everyone at arm's length. But we also learn how much she cares about her friends, even though she might not show it. In this episode everbody sees their fate in the eyes and tries everything to stop it. Everything just for a day longer. We see what length people af willing to go when they have little time left and it is a great attribut for a scary story. Cause then all the "stupid" things people do in scary movies makes a little more sense.

Beautiful.

If you love Mike Flanagan shows like myself, you're always waiting for the episode (or two...or three) in each show that rocks you. This was the first one of The Midnight Club that really did it for me.

It was beautifully acted and directed from start to finish - and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I've seen a few people complain that this show is a slow burn, but this is why character development and "slower" storytelling is so important. It makes episodes like this really pay off.

Bravo to Mike Flanagan and his team for creating another beautiful story. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Some Jacob ladders elements. The acting is wonderful. The episode will have you laughing, crying, and at times speechlessly frightened! This is the episode in this Flanagan series that everyone will remember. I have to go back and rewatch this asap. Prior to this I felt the midnight club was slow, but it all changes with this one. Flanagan hast run out of surprises yet . This deserves and Emmy. I had to sit for a few moments when this was over just to digest what I had just watched. Such a way to complete a great characters story arc. Every actor brings their A game to this one . 10 out of 10 stars.

This is perfect tv

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think I have ever seen one episode of television explore death in such a perfect manner. While I believe that the shows expression of death got worse towards the end of the series this was perfect. While the ghosts and things in this show were great it it's best this was a show of kids dying soon and learning to cope with the fact that they are dying. That's when this show was at it's most beautiful. This episode tugged and pulled at the heartstrings like no other. Seeing Anyas hypothetical life as you transitioned into the other half of the episode where she had died was beautiful. The scene where Ilonka talks about how stupid death is when going into the room Anya stayed in was beautiful. Death is scary and it is the end and that's hard to cope with. The fragility of life is hard to cope with. Anyas funeral scene showed this perfectly. I have only cried twice while watching TV. Both times were while watching this show. That funeral was one of them.

Not worth watching

A very slow and ordinary story. Unlike the review on Netflix suggests it's neither startling nor curious. I watched 5 episodes and it didn't move a cell. I'm not sure how it's perceived by 15 years olds but this for sure should not be in the category of horror or suspense or thriller. I personally regret the time I spent watching it and therefore I like to write a review to warn all others that are going to watch this, it's a huge turn down. You keep watching and waiting for an exciting moment and it never happens. Completely disappointing with a really weak and boring storyline and I strongly recommend not to watch it.
