Forget the so-called "Trump bashing" a few other reviewers here have bitched about. The segment in question shows Joe Exotic's disciples showing up in DC just as the January 6th "revolution" was starting, hoping to snag a pardon from the lame duck President. In fact, the Trump supporters featured interacting with the Tiger King's ppl strike a sympathetic chord when one woman berates them for supporting an animal abuser.
That is a tiny portion of episode one. The rest of season two is about the sickening array of greedy animal exploiters who deserve to be shut down and incarcerated for their moral and legal crimes. The woman who might have murdered her husband but was never adequately investigated in a timely manner (and whose brother happens to be a local deputy). The scam artist who ripped off a charity for millions only to get a slap on the wrist and go on to prosper via continued sleazy shenanigans and - as is all too often in America - acquiring some measure of immunity for cooperating with the government to help convict Joe Exotic. The disgusting Indiana animal exploiter who lost dozens of healthy animals to agonized death in an irresponsible move. Plus all their slimy partners and underlings.
There are glimmers of hope offered by a few law enforcement officers and government officials who seem to be taking the issue seriously, beyond the token victory of shutting down Joe Exotic. And whatever one might think of PETA, it's obvious their rep genuinely cares about the welfare of the animals and is actively trying to save them from the horrors perpetrated by the money-hungry exploiters.
